Jeff, Do you have any of the 62' C10's available? I do have a few Matt. Which one are you wanting the Street version or the Pro Mod? Let me know. Thanks. 2-3 ProMod

Great as always, Rick. Nice to see you playing with the fumes again. Both 1:1 and 1:64

wbj, I still make the Pro Stock Pinto. The web page is being redesigned, so all bodies are not yet listed. I can be contacted through the web site or a PM here. So I will send you a PM. Any pics?

Cars will be shipped NDA tomorrow via Fed Ex. Been traveling for work and this was all in the kids hands. They learned how to fully disassemble and reassemble. They learned how to match magnets (on a scale), they learned how to ohm armatures. They lost more brushes and brush springs than they will admit to. They had 25 cars to take apart and share parts from and only had enough brushes and springs to reassemble 11 lol. When they painted their bodies it rained while they were outside and some got water in the paint (devestated my son). I did not have time to finish detail painting, but after thrashing they are ready.
My son did a great job of documenting runs here at our track. He even told me last week that some cars were better before they took them apart. None the less I am excited to see how their work performs. We drew #'s out of a hat to select the chassis that we are running for each of our entries.

Hey Guys, I think having Matt's kids in the race is great. Was thinking besides the regular eliminations that perhaps we could have a "Jr. Division" run-off or something featuring the kids cars. Something encouraging for them. ................... Peter hey, if they go to school and tell their friends ................ Peter, They appreciate the thought, but want to run at the highest level win, lose or break

Matt, does the width really make that much difference? Just wondering, I never really paid attention to that. I just cut the length and flatten them. THAT'S what this is ALL about guys! ;D Good going Matt! Ron (Bondo) Ron, My testing has shown that you never want it wider than the shoe. If possible slightly narrower seems to be best as unlike 1/24 where you are running braid to braid and flat to flat, the 1/64th is a little different. The braid on HO is backed by the flat of the shoe and is being pressed against the radius of the rail which causes it to want to wrap around the rail. If the braid touches the track it will obviously slow the car down. Too narrow and the braid wants to wander side to side if long enough to let it do so. I have been spending more time lately trying to find the right length for the right application which has not shown much variation as of yet.

Put me down for 2 entries please. Also my son and daughter would like to enter a 2 cars each. They are not able to register here as they are under 13 and were rejected when they tried to register. If they are allowed to participate, they would like to do so (my daughter is 12 and my son is 10). Please let me me know as we are going to have some runoffs this weekend to see who gets to enter which cars (yes it is a competitive enviornment here). My daughter's nickname is MadKat and my son goes by SuperCoop and again each would like to enter 2 cars. My apologies Matt. It must be one of Pro Boards rules as I have no control over the minimum age. Sam No big deal Sam, I understand even if it is/was a rule.

The verbage needs to be changed a little in the rules to state no aftermarket style scoops. I think factory "scoops" (i.e. shaker hoods (mustangs, mopars, etc.) are ok as is the turbo hump in the Grand National hood. On the Nomad if in doubt, simply trim the pipes.

What about taking bodies that are otherwise correct, but have say a blower or T-Tops on them. Are we allowed to fill in the hoods or T-Top provisions to make them correct and legal?

Taz,
Send me your address and how many cars you are doing and I will mail you some braid. I will need to know what Ski Shoe you are running so I send you the proper width.

LOL thanks guys! Cooper has been a long time lurker here and slot racer for the last 5 years. Madison just likes beating her brother regardless of the activity.
