I apologize for the interruption of the domain name. I had to up the fee for proboards to host the domain Nitroslots.com.
I hope you all are doing well and can really appreciate you guys and gals keeping the interest and passion for this hobby alive by using this forum. I'll be back at some point, I just have a lot going on with work and really enjoy my family time when I'm off.
Keep on drag racing slots!

Hello NC, I have no plans on redoing that body. If you're looking for a Vega, check with Jeff. He makes a nice one.

Comp classes were never intended to have restrictions for altering the chassis. I noticed in the rules that there is nothing that covers rules for the chassis. From the beggining we've allowed cutting on Gasser chassis which is a comp class for T-jet. Personally I've always felt as long as the motor brushes and motor magnets stay in the same location as the chassis was produced then any other chassis mods should be legal in comp class.

Killer work as always Randy. We might have to have a street outlaws event using replicas from the shows.

Doing some testing with the new Jag Hobbies DR-1 chassis. Similar to other E/T's posted by members here the stock chassis out of the box was running mid to high .7's @ 18 mph. Time for some modifications. I changed out the 7/25 gearing to a 8/20. The pinion is from BSRT. The crown gear, I'm not sure, it was in my parts box and I was able to trim the back side flange to make it fit. I removed the traction magnets and like others, glued 2 neo disc magnets which gave the chassis better down-force. I used wizard Delrin rear wheels, jel claw buggy tires and trimmed a little bit of the chassis around the traction magnets to slam the body. Front wheels are 1/24 scale Pro Track wheelie bar wheels. After lapping the gears, adding braid to the pick up shoes and a wheelie bar.... this car was running consistent .49's @ 29mph on 20 Volts. Jag Hobbies did a great job with this chassis and the modifications are endless. Narrow rear end, long wheel base and inline motor makes this a great chassis for HO drag racing. I was playing with 3 traction magnets (too much DF) and no wheelie bar before dropping back to 2 and adding a wheelie bar. VIDEO:
