thanks for the input guys. I also like Dave's no show rule. These rules will also apply to Pro Street Outlaws.

I know we haven't discussed this but how do you want to handle racers that are on the list changing bodies? I like the thought of having familiar looking cars that are identifiable by racer but also don't want to discourage someone that wants to change bodies. On Street Outlaws if a new car is introduced by a racer that is already on the list, they start back in the shark pool. That seems a little extreme to me in our program since we are not racing 100k cars so I wanted to bring this up for discussion.
Here are some options open for discussion.
1.) To discourage changing bodies I suggest that we implement a rule for the top 5 cars. If a racer in the top 5 wants to change bodies then they are bumped to the #6 position allowing #6 - #2 to automatically move up one position. My reasoning for only doing this for the top 5 only is that if we bump a racer off the list that is in the 1-5 spots then they are most likely going to beat up on the shark pool and move their way up the list quickly, discouraging those trying to make their way up the list as well. This rule would not apply to list positions 6-10 and they'll be able to change bodies without being penalized. Along with this rule, a racer that does switch bodies will also have the last call out on day 1 of an event.
2.) Bump off the list entirely
3.) No penalty, switch bodies as you wish.
Thoughts?

good topic fellas. I think its the motor pinion followed by the big cluster gear as the main cause for a high gear ratio. Similar to riding a mountain bike when you switch to the smaller front gear and bigger rear gear when going up hills. How the rest of the idlers come in to play is beyond me so I took on the daunting task of gear count to see what you math wizards can come up with.
9T Motor pinion, First gear 26T Second gear, big idler 20T 3rd gear, Idler 20T 4th gear, Idler 12T attached under 4th idler 18T Axel crown gear

it is good to see the crow back. I'm not sure why chief was so upset, everyone knows Richard never races. Hell Richard didn't even get that a slower ET can still win a drag race! I found that amusing. I feel bad for Alex Laughlin because he is a way better driver than he performed on the show. Either Farm truck is one hell of a driver or Aaron is not as good a driver as advertised. I think FT could of better his lap time on the road course if he hadn't broke the weld on the axle. Maybe it was the topper keeping the Farm Bird planted? Alright fellas, who's going to be the first to make a Farm Bird slot car?

awesome weekend Jeff, Thank you for the time and dedication you put into your events. The postings were first rate and very enjoyable to follow. Congrats to HT for the best appearing award, well deserved.
Give me a few days to update the list standings and to create the 4GO list. See you all in Tennessee.
