These are a few places to get decals that I know of.
TSS Hobbies are doing some cool nostalgia decals. Perfect for S/S. Contact Tom at www.tsshobbies.com He can fill you in on his selection.
Lucky Bob's has "Rod Shop" and Sox and Martin decals by HO EXPRESS DECALS #2123. Also has Nascar decals that could be fitted to MM/PS minus the #'s

Pattos Place has a big selection. More modern than Nostalgic

Another great source for decals is www.hocustom.com They mostly have Nascar decals and have a bunch from the 60's era. Most of these would look great on any 60's S/S body minus the billboard numbers.
Meads have a great selection of decals

Road Race Replica is another great source for auto race decals, bodies, wheels etc....

I have not dealt with this company but they have some great looking drag decals, hot rod/rat rod decals etc: They list CUSTOM decals also......in WHITE Gold and silver nmetallics as well as color.

Don't overlook other sources for decals. Airplane decals often have cool nose art (old school pin ups etc). Pinewood Derby decals may give you some usable pieces/. Train decals may have usable logos and artwork. Train decals come in alphabet sets as well. If memory serves they are several colors, including Fake Gold, Gold Metallics, basic red, yellow, black and also white sets. Microscale Industries is along established Train decal company at the link below. They also have stripes and designs.

Sets made for "N" scale or "S" scale or "O" might have usable artwork as well. you dont need to know what that means, just look at the different sizes!
Of course, decals for 1/25 and 1/24 car models (the smaller items) may be usable too. By cutting and combining you can come up with lots of 'custom' options. Ill post a few samples to give you guys some ideas.
railgraphicsdecals.com
lists custom decal work that could be adapted to your needs possibly.
That ought to get you guys started..............compared to the 'old days' we really have a wealth of stuff to satisify our race car needs
