Attention Racers, The NF/C Summer Showdown is being moved from Jul 25 to AUG 1.
I hope this doesn't inconvenience anyone. It does give you an extra week to work on your cars.

Somewhere in central California . . . the gunshot bark of two nitro-burning engines shatters the quiet afternoon. It's a midweek test session, with Jungle Jim and RV Racing getting in their last hits before the long drive to Ohio. It's been a tough week so far -- Jungle nearly burned the body off in a match race with McEwen at Fremont, and RV blew an arm last Sunday at the Beach. Even Jungle Pam is looking a bit tired. But the NTRA AFX 4-Gear Summer Showdown is not to be missed. After a few all-nighters, the patched-up race cars and wounded engines are ready to race again. It's going to be 48 hours straight through to Mopar City Dragway, truckstop coffee and cold pizza for dinner. The fog is rolling in from the Pacific, the track is getting damp. Time to load 'em up, boys . . . As Jungle always says: "Drag racing is faarrr oouuttt!"  |
