Hey Eagle, I just got the tires you made and they look great.Should I run a couple laps on them to help break em in or can they just be put on race ready?

Always a good idea to put a couple laps on or a few runs down the drag strip if you have time.

Thanks sjracer for compliment, I am having fun trying to get this on the same level as the G3s. It is not an easy, but it is a challenge. That is the fun part. Good luck with your cars to.

F.E.D. Brush Springs: OK I said to try the old school 4gear chassis that has brush springs like a Tjet, I took it one step further. I put braids on the springs as well. I will post a pic later so you totally understand what I mean.

Sounds pretty interesting, I look forward to seeing pics. I have gone in a different direction and have come up with a heat sink for my setup.

phantombse I told you I would share what I came up with on the spring melting issue. At first I was thinking heat sinks. Then I borrowed a better idea from my 1/24th scale racing days. As I was looking at one of my unlimited motors I realized I could do the same thing in my HO setup. This setup features: Oversized shunted brushes, Insulator at base of brush, Brush spring, Aluminum heat sinks. The heat sinks are overkill the Insulator does the trick. I think this is pretty cool 8-)Where do you get this setup? Eagle Racing of course or make your own.

Phantom do you notice a difference in performance using the shorter magnets with that chassis? That is what's kept me from trying it. Jeff
