Thanks guys I am having a lot of fun doing the gears. Already drawing up plans for a brand new drag bike chassis. This one will take the place of the old one that is resin. The new one will be brass or alumminum.

Thought some of you racers might like to see what's been going on in the Eagles shop. I thought it would be fun to show off some of my new high tech equipment I purchased for the shop, and a little bit of how I did it.
Let's start with the wax model.
Next you take your flask and fill with investment. As you can see it is setting on my high dollar kiln the oven door is open Next we need to burn out the wax so now the over door must be closed.Okay wax is burned out melt the metal, pour the metal and you get this.It all ends up like this, pretty cool if I don't say so myself

The new wax mold for the 4Gear Cluster gear is ready Now it's time to make some wax models of the gear. Also made a mold for wax models of wheels. I am going to start trying to make custom wheels. All of this has quite a learning curve. I have had failure after failure, but each cast is better than the last

Just a quick update on my metal casting project. Here is a peak at a test cast in brass of what will soon be Eagle Racing Aluminum Wheels. In the background you can see a couple of hillbilly cluster gears (missing some teeth ) Oh, that's a Riley & Scott Mrk III laying on it's side.

NICE '57 Eagle! Been wondering how long it would be before somebody did one of those! I actually thought about it when I started messing with casting, but what I had to start with would have taken more work than I was willing to do! LOL!! REAL nice job with it! Ron (Bondo)

Slotfather came over today and he and I went through a bunch of cars. Getting ready for the Summer Nationals. We did not get to all of them main focus on Top Fuel and Modern Funny Cars. As I have told my cuzzo JJ many times my cars are just to slow but they will have to do. Both FEDs will have to be rebuilt. The Pro Mod door slammers need new gears and tires. Just have to stay after it.
