I am going to take a wild guess and take the Shaker part of Eagles first guess. I think he was from around the Michigan area Pete Seaton ''Seatons Super Shaker''. The driver in the silver suite and worn out tennis shoes was Rich Hammons my dad's partner. That was in 1966 at Fremont Drag Strip in Northern California. Rich and my dad split and my dad drove it for a year until he had enough (car was ill handling) and hired Dave Motta at the last. I started driving Funny Cars in 1974 my Junior year in High School. Then I took some time off to raise a family and have been driving a Nostalgia Top Fuel car for the past 7 years. My dad and younger brother Bret still run a Alcohol Funny Car on a limited schedule and swap the motor from the FC into a 53 Studebaker Pro Mod that they run a Unlimited Pro Mod Class here on the West Coast.

I am going to take a shot in the dark. Mr. Chevrolet dickie Harrell ? He was from the midwest and all his cars were clean and top notch. Wood the name Pete Russell doesn't ring a bell.

I'm not even qualified to enter, but this is a fun thread to read hehe.
Also, I wasn't even born 'til the mid 70's, and not even in the US, but I still love the old skool f/c's ..

Well, I'm sure I'm wrong..but the only name coming to mind so far is Al Bergler and the Motown Shaker Vega. He did run rails, in the 60's, but I don't think they were AA's. Ron (Bondo)
