I'm wondering if this body is legal for the stock class.  I don't know who made it. It has all the factory mounting posts, and stock glass and bumpers fit. Here's another picture next to a semi-stock body.  It might be a Bad Dawg body, but I can't find any pictures yet. Also if anybody has front and rear bumpers and glass let me know please. I went to Auto Worlds site and clicked on Slot Car bodys, and they are selling 5 bodys for $7 and one is a black couger you could get your parts off of.

Dog, you got me all excited. I went to Auto World to check it out. The only problem there is it says, "bodies may vary". No guarantee that there's a Cougar in the group I'd order. With my luck I'd never get one. Great deal though!
Peter, thats an orginal Model motoring body that I got when I was a kid. poor thing has been through hell,The "A" pillars were gone and the widshield was broken so I cut the top off to make a Super Gas / Comp Elim type car and just haven't gotten around to finishing it.

I'd pay the $10 shipping if I knew I was going to get a Cougar body out of the deal. I've been wanting to get one of those limited edition Mustangs too. Have to see what happens.The other option is to by a complete car and rob the parts from it and use the chassis for another project.
From what Ive been told the body could be made by HO Models.I still don't know if it is legal to run in the up coming race.
What the general consensus , Ninja an opinion on this?

Initially, it sound as if you had the bumpers and windows.Then seems as if you are looking for these items. Either way the body with the bumpers and windows installed is legal for the upcoming Stock Class race. |
