Headed to Eagle Racing this morning to do some race promo video work. Also going into the machine shop for a little lathe work as well. Hey Jeff, how did the lathe work go. Hope there will be enough slices of pie to go around. Already made room for two. ....................... Peter

Peter....I missed this post. Lathe work went well. I needed to center drill the bar so I could cut some gears. Not quite to the point of distribution yet, but testing my version of the cluster gear plate this weekend. Then we'll go from there. I will let you know. Going a little slow because I have race stuff that I'm working on too. I really think this is going to work out very well. I have high hopes anyway. I will keep you informed.

Now that the race is over, I can focus on some new Doorslammer builds that are in the Angry Jeff garages. Building a couple of Chevys........Lone Star Resins 1965 Biscayne and an Eagle Racing 1970 Chevelle. The Biscayne is going to be a turbo car.

The day you post something thats not 4g related AW will cry.........lol........... Peter LOL..........Peter sometimes you are a funny, funny guy. I've got a Gasser that I'm getting ready to start on pretty quick so there you go. I am looking forward to that one. It is a Hairy Canary '65 Nova AWB. This is my second attempt at a turbo car. First was the Thunderbolt, but you cant really even tell it's turbo. Don't like how they came out. I am going to try to put them in the front sloped part of the scoop. I have a vision, but I'm going to have to make the cuts to see how it looks. Might look like crap. Then I'll just patch it up and put them in the grill. We'll see...I don't even have a color(s) yet. Also got new magnets for MM/PS to drop in and test before Atco. Got to step it up there. Pretty N Pink is a rocketship. So there are some other things going on besides 4g. But we do love the Doorslammers.....by far my favorite builds!

Now I forgot what I was going to post..........I'll save you a seat in case I'm first........lol............we could play slot cars all day.......

Here is some more 4 gear stuff for ya!! Got some pretty serious gear work going on not only in Colorado, but in North Texas as well. Between Eagle Racing's and Angry Jeff's garages we are coming up with solutions to gear failure issues and opening the door to unlimited ratios for the F.E.D. builds.
This is my contribution to the cause. This is the proven Tjet cluster set up adapted to the 4g.
I have made 20 - 30 passes on the prototype in the low .5's and this setup is SOLID. The only plastic gear remaining is the 26t. There has not been any problems with that gear and I do not expect any. But if there is, Eagle I believe has the answer. This setup utilizes the stock post positions and my 20t brass gears. I have a few minor improvements to make, but it is basically ready as is. I am getting ready to do a new build and really put the power to it. OH YEA!!

looking good Jeff. I'm glad to see I could spark some interest with the brass plates and screws. Giving the rear cluster two points of stabilization over the stock bottom only (poor design), we should have no problem applying more power to this class. Love this class and the creativity that is being shared to help develop quicker cars.

Hey Jeff, looks like things are moving along. Have you tried the 14/24 t-jet gears like, Sam posted. Gives you a 1.7/1 ratio vs. 2.8/1 stock 9/26 gear set-up. ................ Peter

Love this class and the creativity that is being shared to help develop quicker cars. Thank you. I've had this idea in my head for awhile and when you posted your build, it all came together for me. The double support is the key to the strength. I have a couple more ideas to add to this, but like I said, this is pretty much finished. I was trying to keep it simple. You guys inspire me in all kinds of ways with your builds, painting, etc. Thank you for that. There are some other ideas bouncing around that will utilize Eagles gears he is working on, but I do not have any as of yet. We are going to start seeing some real numbers now.

Peter No Peter I haven't. That would require moving one or more of the posts and I intentionally did not want to do that............yet. I plan on running this setup for now and start working on doing some of those things. Needed to put the breakages behind me first.

First ever tjet Gasser build in the garage. Hairy Canary AWB Nova. This is an awesome body! Don't quite have the stance right yet and I think I am going to change the front end. It is coming along well though. Also got the base coat on the Pro Mod Biscayne in the background. Hoping the Gasser will be competitive.
