That 70 Chevelle looks awesome, but I'm gonna miss that T-bird. No new builds for me right now do to lack of time between work and all the doctor's visits. Just hope everyone is getting geared up for the Texas Black Top Summer Nationals.

Nice job with the Biscayne ! ......looks like I'm not the only one taking advantage of this month.......... going to take some pics w/phone and see if, Doug can figure out how to.post them........... finished up body mounting on heli-mtr car........ won't be long before the techs at Bear Creek have it to play with.............. finished 33' coupe, yellow black windows, exposed engine.........time went into engine, orange block, pipes from AW TF curl up over front wheels, fuel lines to carbs & manifold are green, plug wires from dist red, throtle linkage from ea carb to lower fire wall, pulley's are glass beads (wheels for w/bars) mounted on straight pins (cut down, also used head from pin for cap on radiator) then wrapped with cut strip of painted masking tape for belt. Used cut pins for grill supports from fire wall (stainless look)......... oh yea, chrome 4g wheels..........
Going to send it to Black Top for fed (let, Rob make call).......... nothing special mtr wise, same set-up as green fed......... IMO, coolest looking car I have............. roadster done short time ago could be fast.......... some mods to that mtr
Been doing some bodies for give aways later in year....... and there's still time to work on M/FC...... just blowing the dust off last.year got me from 1st in 2012 to flop in 13'........... dropping tire size on TF also........... I'M LIKING THIS MONTH

Thanks Tom. I hope the doctor stuff isn't too serious. I know you had mentioned an MRI after your race. Been thru some of that kind of stuff myself. I hated to park the Tbird, but I've been running it awhile now and I have a bunch of bodies that I want to build. So you know how the rest of the story goes. Good luck with the doctor stuff.

Hey Peter....I decided to put this on this thread since I already commented on this here already and I didn't want to hijack Kdogs. I'm sure you will find it. Your a forum hound like me. Your sending a build to play with.....that's always fun. I know you have been doing a lot of building and painting lately so try to figure out how to post pics from your phone. I like your cars so I look forward to seeing them. I will look into that as well. Jeff

Finally got around to finishing the Eagle Racing 70 Chevelle PM. Was trying to finish before the Summer Nats but ran out of time. This body will be replacing the Thunderbolt for next season. First time using laquer in the airbrush. Finished with Model Master gloss clear acrylic.

I look forward to getting the car. I am scraping the bottom of the barrel trying to get the stocker together. But it looks like I will just have enough parts. Going to put it on the track this week and see what I got. Not expecting much, but wanted to at least participate. Once again I do appreciate the use of the car for N/PS.

Nice job cuzzo!! Now it needs a set of Eagle custom wheels and tires. I finished the Cragars you asked if I could do. I also finished the 5 spoke directionals. Those are going on the 57 Chevy you saw in the shop during the race.

So much easier to control than the rattle can. I picked up a bunch of cans at Hobby Lobby on clearance. Transfer from can to bottle for airbrush as per what Hilltop had suggested. Works out pretty well. Haven't even started to use the Paasche that I have. As for the lacquer...I like it and Model Master acrylic best. Needed to use white paper for the decals on this one but didn't. The colors kind of washed out on the green. I look to you and the other great builders we have for inspiration. Thanks again for the good word. By the way...how is your track coming along?

I have the 30 v 10amp power supply and the Trackmate 2000 timing system and of coarse the track. The name of the track will be Fremont Drag Strip (later re named Baylands Race Way) that was my home track it wasn't a pretty one but it was fast. It was at sea level the Air was always great and the surface was the best around. So hopefully when things slow down a little I will be able to get started on it. Rick
