what is going on? some car start emiting a loud screeching noise and run like crap. checked motor brushes. do bad armatures make this sound? thanks

Loud screeching in my cars was always friction in the drive train,gears,axle,or unbalanced arm some times I could fix it and some times they became parts cars.

Usually screeching is cured by oiling the gears and the armature. I've never had one that didn't get quiet and run decent after oiling.

Ok I will try oiling. Thanks. The same sound I have heard with several and it's really loud and comes on all at once. Thanks again
