Jim, I don't know what all of them weigh, but on the Doorslammers there's (supposed to be anyway) a minimum weight of 25 grams. And..I knew my DS car wasn't gonna run too well. For some reason, I've never been able to make a Mean Green arm go fast. And the ohm rating never made any difference. My other two (MFC and TF) cars both have Tuff Ones arms (original green wire). All my faster cars have had those arms in them. BTW..GREAT coverage! I've been busy all day and am just now getting caught up! Ron (Bondo)

You're right Jim the green green is better.I even have wild ones that are better then green gold. The gauge of wire makes the difference I guess.

I haven't had any luck with either green/green or the green/gold. Actually the green/gold was a lot worse, but I've had 5.9 and 5.8 matched green/green, and they still didn't do well. Maybe it was just my building or something. :/ Ron (Bondo) :-)

Good morning racers. Last day of racing today. My cars have done far better than I hoped. I felt good about all but the MM/PS. I really haven't had a chance to sit down and look at the race coverage...it's been a couple of busy days for the crew. Robert and Alan have been handling the posting duties, etc. and I have pretty much been the gopher. Lots to do....Finals today...and then it's a wrap. I've been been slowly building up parts stock over the last year and have more to choose from. I can honestly say that helps tremendously. Combinations of parts...specifically magnets/motors is a key I think. Have done several new things with these builds that I haven't done before...all within the rules so these are available to everyone to do. Lapping, balancing, shimming, etc. I am still learning, but improving with every race. Like I said in another post, the F.E.D. class has taught me soooo much about these cars. I have been able to apply some of the ideas into other classes. Thanks to everyone that sent in cars. The cars keep getting better and better. Thanks to all the sponsors and Eagle Racing for allowing me to help and for hosting!!
