When they get on the road, they will have their 1's & 2's on them. Special instructions ? I got some special instructions for ya.......oooooops wrong thread. How long will we have to submit DIT's ? Wanna check last ones used, broke out with each car. Think I, need to be between thosse and previous numbers. If I, can find them........

Peter the initial DIT is more or less a formality. Gives us something to go with (racer's choice) in case the racer isn't able to update the DIT after qualifying. The DIT submitted/updated after qualifying is the important one and the deadline for that one will be 9pm CST Friday. If no DIT is submitted at all, we will use 5% for the whole race. To borrow a phrase from Ninjatek........That was the long answer. Short answer.......You have till qualifying starts to submit your intitial DIT and till 9pm CST Friday for your final DIT submission. ...........the address confirmation as well as long answer above was more for the rookie racers as a refresher. You know how it goes. Best wishes to you and yours! See ya at the races! Jeff

Arrrgh, been checking #'s and oiling.. ... forgot I only have one bracket car ready. Did I see "anything" can be used for bracket race? Does this mean it is no longer limited to inlines or any kind of inline can be used ? ......................................tia, Peter

Hauler was closed up and on the way about an hour ago.
Yeaaah I found another car, Jeff. Same as last time, stock/slip-ons. Working on bodies and second chassis for bracket. Got distracted w/can motors.
Question on DIT's , if an initial number of 2 was used with 1 as a regression. And 1 percent was to be used for every round, except if making it to finals when 0.5 percent would be the dial-in. How would that be listed for submission. Do I need to find DIT thread or can we do that here ? .................................tia, Peter

How would that be listed for submission. Do I need to find DIT thread or can we do that here ? .................................tia, Peter If you were to submit the numbers you list above you rounds would look like this: (This example assume you have a super consistent set-up and that your car will run 1.000 every round. Also assumed is you win every round.)
DIT example 1: 2.00, 1.00, .500 Last ET | %Regression | Dial-in | 1.000 | 2 | .980 | 1.000 | 1 | .990 | 1.000 | .5 | .995 | 1.000 | .5 | .995 | 1.000 | .5 | .995 | 1.000 | .5 | .995 |
In this example you reach the regression stop in the third round. The regression stop is used for all rounds following round 2. DIT example 2: 2.00, .500, .500 Last ET | %Regression | Dial-in | 1.000 | 2 | .980 | 1.000 | 1.5 | .985 | 1.000 | 1 | .990 | 1.000 | .5 | .995 | 1.000 | .5 | .995 | 1.000 | .5 | .995 |
In this example you reach the regression stop in the fourth round. The regression stop is used for all rounds following round 3. DIT example 2: 2.00, .250, .500 Last ET | %Regression | Dial-in | 1.000 | 2 | .980 | 1.000 | 1.75 | .9825 | 1.000 | 1.50 | .985 | 1.000 | 1.25 | .9875 | 1.000 | 1 | .990 | 1.000 | .75 | .995 |
In this example the regression stop is not reached until the seventh round. In most cases there will not be more than four or five rounds. That is the long way of saying the program is set up to regress the initial percentage by the regression factor until the regression stop is reached.

Hey Cordell,, what I was wondering how to do was start at 2, drop.to 1in second round, stay at 1 through third, fourth, fifth and any more. Then drop to 0.5 for final round,, if fortune should smile on me. Instead of going 2-1-.5-.5-.5 .............. how do you get 2-1-1-1-.5 ...................................ta, Peter

Program isn't set up for that. Closest you can get is 2-1-1-1-1 using 2.00, 1.00, 1.00

Thank you Cordell. You do a much better job of explaining it than I ever could. Figuring it is one thing.....explaining it is another.

My mistake, thought dial-ins could be changed at any time. Wanted to get in change ahead of time, in case I couldn't get on-line during.
Would like to go 1- .75-.50 for DIT'S, each car please.
