 Gasser Finals are now in the books and we have our winner!! These cars are ready to go. They have been waiting since yesterday to get this settled. They pull to the line. Pretty N Pinks truck drops the hammer and gets a .401rt to Pceng's Falcon .418rt. She did all she could do, but it's not going down that way...that little green Ford is not having any of it. The Falcon passes the truck and never looks back. Pceng wins with a .807 to PnP's slowing .914.
Pceng is the 2014 NTRA Winter National Gasser Champion!!

Getting close to wrapping this up. Next up.....the remaining (3) Match races. There are some beauties getting ready to run!! I can hear them getting ready in the pits. Order will be...
1) Pceng (Mustang)vs Eagle (Charger)Battle of the MM/PS
2) SKR (Camaro)vs JJWallace (Thunderbolt) Battle of the Pro Mods
3) Escamilla Chick (Camaro) vs JJWallace (Thunderbird) Battle of the Pro Mods

First up is the MM/PS match up. We are running this race at 22v. Race 1 was the best of the day up to this point. Both cars stage...cut good lights...and run identical E.T.'s with .630 to a .630. Can't say I've ever seen that before. The win goes to Pceng due to the better R.T. Race 2 Easy win for Eagle's Mopar. He runs a .652 and Pceng deslots at the start. Race 3 We are tied up to this point at 1 and 1. Cars come off the line close to even, but Eagle steps it up and gets the win running a .614 to Pceng's .632. Great racing action here!! Eagle is the WINNER!!!

Match race 2 is SKR vs JJWallace and will be run at 18v. Race 1 These cars are ready to go and have been waiting all weekend to get this done. They both launch...SKR .416rt to JJ's .426, but the Ford has got some horsepower and drives around the Camaro for the win. JJ .793 TO SKR .849. Race 2 SKR needs this one to stay in it! They stage and drop the hammer and leave almost at the same time....SKR .433rt to JJ's .431, but once again the Tbolt steps it up a little more running a .787 to the Camaro's .841. JJ is the WINNER in two!!

We have finally reached the end. Let's be clear about this.......this is not a match race.....it is a GRUDGE race!!  All in fun of course.....sorta  Check out the history between these two in last years Battle for the Crown Doorslammers. We are just having a good time with this.
Match race 3 will be run at 18v. Race 1 The tension is high. they pull up to the line and as expected, there is a staging duel. They finally stage and the lights drop. JJ is holding on too tight and goes red. Easy win for Escamilla Chicks Camaro and she runs a .856. Race 2 Once again...no one is in any hurry to stage, but they finally pull in. The Camaro gets the holeshot(.427) to JJ's (.483). The Tbird is not going out like that and pulls even with the Camaro at the traps.......and I mean even!!! This race was hands down the best of the day and I know for sure I've never seen that before. Trackmate did not declare a winner. E.Chicks run a .847 to JJ's .791 (do the math). This race is going to a 3rd. If JJ wins it will still be a tie and we will go to further rounds. Race 3 Staging duel...ho hum...JJ steps it up once again and pulls out the win running a .789 to E.Chicks .854 (gee that might make a good bracket car  ). Okay the stage is set...unless we have another tie, this will be decided here and now. Race 4 for all the marbles. E.Chicks gets the holeshot with a .403rt to JJ's .438, but the Tbird runs the best run yet with a .788 and drives around the Camaro to turn on the win light. The win this time will go to JJ and his Tbird. But I have a feeling this isn't over!! To be continued.......

Okay........it has been a great 2 days of racing. I hope everyone has enjoyed it. I will give some finality to the race tomorrow morning, but as for tonight......it's a wrap.Thank you everyone!!

Well done guys. Great job all round. Congrats to the winners and all the racers that joined in the action. Match/Grudge races were a great addition to the format. Slow Motion shots are very cool.

Congrats to our winners!! Much thanks to Jeff and the Bear Creek Crew for hosting and putting on such a good show... Glad to have been part of this one.. and a Couple wins didn't hurt Yea, racing is fun when you're winning and drags when you're not..
