Race 13 #20 SKR rt.464 / et.512 vs Hairy Canary rt.397 / et.678. We could not have scripted this any better....SKR's Blue Hell against Hairy Canary's Pure Hell.HC needs to hit the tree hard to have a chance against the #1 qualifier. He hits the pedal .003 too quick and goes red. #1 is moving into the semis.
Race 14 #17 Hairy Canary rt.441 / et.521 vs JJWallace rt.457 / et.543. Hairy Canary launches first and keeps it there. JJ's car was slowing and is now on the trailer because of it.
Race 15 #19 SKR rt.500 / et.502 vs Hemi Hunter rt.470 / et.638. SKR has a fast car and does not need to push it. He let Hemi Hunter go and then drives around him. SKR is in the semis........again.
Race 16 #5 Eagle rt.440 / et.713 vs Eagle gets out front and holds the lead to a slowing Pceng. Pceng's car slowed .1 slower than his last run.

Race 17 #20 SKR rt.432 / et.522 vs Hairy Canary rt.433 / et.584. Two heavy hitters here........can Hairy Canary stop SKR's Texas onslaught?? No it is not to be. Both cars come off the line .001 apart and SKR lays down another solid run.
Race 18 #19 SKR rt.477 / et.513 vs Eagle rt.470 / et1.067. SKR has no problem with this one and sends Eagle packing. Eagle blows his motor on this run. It is an all SKR Final. Good job man!!

Nostalgia Top Fuel Finals are completed and the results are in......big surprise....SKR wins!! LOL......all kidding aside SKR's two cars ruled the class today. The cars were fast and performed solid through every round. He concludes the N/TF 2014 season with a big win here at Bear Creek and a sweep of all the Texas events. Up next is the Kiwi Challenge. We have 4 racers from New Zealand that have challenged 4 racers in the U.S. This should be fun. Cars are utilizing current NTRA N/FC class builds and will be run at 18v. Following the Kiwi Challenge will be an exhibition run of Ninjatek's Beast. I could not allow the car to run competitively in the N/TF due to it has no 4 gear characteristics. But we will see what it can do. It will also run at 18v. Here is the Match Race order.
1) Kiwidave Pinto vs JJWallace Pinto 2) Duster Mustang vs KS1933 Camaro 3) Nitro Viking Charger vs Eagle Camaro 4) Flashdrive Mustang vs Hemi Hunter Mustang

Kiwi Challenge has concluded and the results are in. We had some good racing. Here are the race results.
Match Race 1 Race 1 Kiwidave Pinto LL.444 ET1.20 vs JJWallace Pinto RL .431 ET1.144. The cars don't waste any time getting to the beams. They take off together and JJ pulls a couple of lengths through the traps. JJ wins.
Race 2 Kiwidave Pinto RL.441 ET1.141 vs JJWallace Pinto LL.414 ET1.148. JJ's driver was on the tree for this one and gets the holeshot win over Kiwidave. JJ wins race 2 and Match.

Match 2 Race 1 Duster Mustang RL.441 ET1.095 vs KS1933 Camaro LLred ET1.322. KS driver was a little anxious and jumps before the green handing the first win to Duster from N.Z. KS is going to need a good light to get around that fast N.Z. Mustang in the next race. Race 2 Duster Mustang LL.402 ET1.118 vs KS1933 Camaro RL.480 ET1.255. Duster shuts down any chance of a holeshot win for KS when he chops down the tree. Duster takes two in a row bringing the tally to 1 each.

Match 3 Race 1 Eagle Camaro LL.470 ET1.173 vs Nitro Viking Charger RL.528 ET1.132. Nitro's driver made this one easy when he fell asleep at the wheel. Eagle takes a holeshot win. Race 2 Eagle Camaro RL.443 ET1.072 vs Nitro Viking Charger LL.466 ET1.122. Eagle's Camaro woke up after the first race and coupled with a better light...he gets the win. Match goes to Eagle.

Match 4 Race 1 Flashdrive Mustang RL.518 ET1.248 vs Hemi Hunter Mustang LL.435 ET1.172. Flashdrive was late off the line and Hemi Hunter was just faster. First goes to Hemi Hunter. Race 2 Flashdrive Mustang LL.505 ET1.187 vs Hemi Hunter Mustang RL.421 ET1.225. Flashdrive's driver needs to wake up. Pure horsepower pulled that one out. Awesome race! Race 3 Flashdrive Mustang RL.473 ET1.193 vs Hemi Hunter LL.400 ET1.287. Flashdrive's driver was no help to her in this match. It was pure horsepower that pulled out these wins. She wasn't going down. Hemi Hunter did all he could do with a perfect reaction time. In the end all he could do was watch Flashdrive go around him. Match goes to Flashdrive.

The Kiwi Challenge is complete and we had some good racing. Flashdrive is the hero. She had an uphill battle with the bad lights but pulled it out in the end for N.Z. bringing the Match Race tally to 2 Match Race wins each. IT IS A TIE!! Thats as it should be I guess.
