A final reminder for all to get your entries on the road to Tennessee as on Thursday the 24th there is a no mail delivery. I will accept entries on the 25th, which is qualifying day. Here are my 2 entries for the Pro Street Outlaw class: Both are heavyweights but in some cases the extra weight helps with traction.

My cars were mailed out this morning. Expected delivery is Monday. Sent another 2.5 inline entry. Can it be added at #12 please. I put that number on it. Looking forward to the event. Thanks.

Will enter the 2.5 car in the #12 spot. The black 70 Camaro looks like one of the cars on the Street Outlaw show. I like the 95 Camaro entry, used to have one that I drove the street with a modified motor. The opti-spark was a lot of trouble on those cars, a real piece of junk. don't see many of them racing in HO, I have a couple of them.

There are some real road warriors in this group. The 70 Camaro and GTX I've had since I was single digit age but have been repainted. GTX was ugly yel/org #43 Nascar and the Camaro was the wht/blue #3 version. The 95 Camaro and the Firebird are my MM/PS cars that I have run everytime I've entered that class. The Camaro is an Eagle Racing resin body. None of my cars are exceptionally fast, but I hope they will be competitive. Tuning just didn't seem to want to go my way this time. I am looking forward to seeing how much difference your power supplies make...if any. Good luck to everyone!

I have some of the cars from when my boys were still crawling around, I of course bought the cars for them when they were first born, so that the big kid could race them. Fortunately I have and understanding wife. Even way back then I mostly drag raced them. I have found that the power supplies make a big difference over the 10 amps I previously had with the high amp draw cars such as the unlimiteds where the cars picked up about 5-7mph. With the 2.5 cars there is a definite difference of about 1-3 mph. On the slower classes it starts to make less and less of a difference, a stock 14 ohm AFX or T jet will show no difference over a 10 amp power supply. The PSO cars will be slightly faster here, maybe .5 mph, same goes for the inline stocks.

Dave, you indicate that a power supply with more available amperage gives you higher MPH. how do the ET's compare? do you have power taps the full length of the powered sections?

Nosub you had the first challenge. You will race for the #4 spot with Kiwi first and the loser will race Eagle for the #4 spot. There are supposed to be at least 3 more cars that will run a round robin to determine their spot on the list and 79Malibu already has his car here. There will most likely be a Shark pool to determine the 7-10 spots. Sam if that is not correct let me know the correct procedure.

Dave, you indicate that a power supply with more available amperage gives you higher MPH. how do the ET's compare? do you have power taps the full length of the powered sections? Yes Al, ETs also improved. As with the MPH the Unlimited cars benefited the most dropping the quickest ET by about .05. As you know that is a huge difference. 2.5s were the next beneficiary dropping .01-.02. Some slight difference was observed with 6 ohm cars my guess would be in the .005 range there. I think the PSO cars will run slightly quicker here. More in the ET dept because the initial start is where they draw the most current. The MPH for them has been similar to MPH at the other recent races but they ET slightly quicker here. I run power taps at the start, middle and finish of the track with #10 wire firing thru Hi Amp relays. This way the current does not have to flow thru the start button/controller which I have had no failures with. The track is also wired with a switch to allow independent lane control or simultaneous. These 2 supplies have built in short protection so I do not have to worry about smoking something if something shorts across the rails, I do not even have a fuse in the line because of this and I have had an occasional excessive load on the track.

I thought Kiwidave had the first callout against me for the #3. I don't want to confuse the issue, but I'm reading the callouts as they were posted after Sam's event. Dave632 called out SKR for #1 and I called out loser of that race for #2 (if I got past Kiwidave). I guess I missed Nosub's callout somewhere. Not sure what that does to my callout now? I guess it depends on who wins between Kiwi and Nosub?
