Understand just having it built. Send pictures when available.
If I had the house I built in Florida I could have run a full 1/4 in the garage as it was 40x32'. 10' shutdown is still nice but even with dynamic braking you will need a catch box for the faster cars.
My steel question was referring to the power rails and will you be able to use traction magnets which are extremely important for some of the faster cars.

I have never tried any kind of reverse voltage since I did not know how some of the cars would
react to it especially the faster ones, some of which are hitting over 100K rpm in the traps.

Sorry to hear that the builder is dragging his feet. That can be so frustrating. At least Sept is in time for the fall racing season. Hoping to see some 1/43 action in the not too distant future.

I still have many of the Lionel trains I had as a boy. Most of them are hanging on the walls of the race room. I am still a kid at heart, hope it always stays that way. How did they find out about your track?
