Thanks Dave!
Got both lanes operational now. Decided to put some cut vinyl down at the starting area today. Makes it more fun .

Will you have all the incremental readouts, (reaction, 60' 330' 660' finish and MPH), working on the computer screen?

WOW WOW WOW......great work Gale! I'm blown away with each addition. I really like the timing system more and more each time I see it. Trackmate doesn't do the incremental MPH. Very sweeeet!

Gal your track looks amazing. Your craftsmanship and detail is incredible. Plus how fast you get stuff done. Thanks for posting your progress, it's given me some good ideas when and if I ever get my track finished. Keep up the good work.

Wow, great looking track. Well done! Thanks Dave! Every little bit of detail helps.
Thanks Al! I had some issues with the MDF when installing the rail. Basically the MDF isn't as stable as I thought it was going to be. The lanes are a ways from being close to equal due to those issues. I'm still working on it to see if I can salvage it. With that being said, I won't be entertaining the idea of hosting a proxy race real soon . Yeah, it might look good but looks ain't everything, lol.
Thanks Cozee! My knowledge of what a timing system for a drag race should do, is some what limited. It appears to do what I expected it to do and seems accurate. I'm very pleased with the xenon lighting for the sensors, I'm amazed they work at that height.

Here's a screen shot of that run, Dave.
The "Speed Trap" line is a little misleading, it shows the ET & mph from the start to it's sensor. The final line is total ET from start and mph from start of speed trap to finish. Hope that makes sense. I think I blew either the crown or pinion in the DR1, on that round, lol. Sumpthin' went phooie.

Awesome!! I will be getting in touch with you. I started clearing my basement a bit. Watching you having routed your track I will be doing the same. Gpoint to be routing a 1/24 strip as well but those are easier to do. Then, the timing system(s).

If using MDF, I'd like to share with you some of my experiences & challenges I had using it. The issues only come into play, IMO, if using MDF with the stitching wire or a similar rail, where mild pressure is used to lock the rail in place.
