I have about 10 sets of polys for AFX style cars that need to be used. This will be a good use for them.

OK........end of discussion. I appreciate all the input and enthusiasm for the event. The Classes have been decided on. 2 Entries per Class. I will get to work on the race poster, but here are the rules for each class. These are based on the NTRA 2018 guidelines with some fine tuning. Everybody has plenty of time to get those rocketships built for the throw down in North Texas.
Inline Stock (Rookie) and Inline Stock (Veteran) 20v No braids or shunts 5.5 ohm min factory armature *no balancing or custom winds* ceramic motor magnets Traction magnets allowed *2 only* Any gear No silly foam tires *no other wheel/tire restrictions* No chassis modifications (I will allow chassis cutting on the DR-1 in the traction magnet area only) Wheelie bars allowed Neutral timing on any adjustable timing chassis Jag TR 3 and DR 1 chassis allowed **Musclecar type Street body** **No lexan**
4 Gear Super Comp 24v Braids and shunts allowed 5.5 ohm min factory armature *no custom winds* Balancing allowed Polymer grade motor magnets Traction magnets allowed *2 only* Any gear Any wheel/tire wheelie bars allowed Conventional motor brush set up *no wet comm, etc.*
**Modern Top Fuel, Nostalgia Top Fuel, Fuel Altered type body** **No lexan**
Now for the next event upcoming......... Alpinks Summer Swelter!!

Hmm...might have to come out of retirement for this. We shall see what happens. One question though Jeff. On the super comp class, does it have to be a Mean Green arm? I still have some stuff from before, can I use an original Tuff Ones arm? Always liked those arms.

I think it's changed just a little since you were last here. Factory armature no less than 5.5ohm. I reworded it in the rules post.

Where's a good place to find polymer mags to fit a 4 gear chassis?

Great question Ron. I can only find Tjet size, can't find Magnatraction/4 gear type online?

Hi JJ the rules mention 2 entries per person is that 2. Or 2 per class Jeff that would be 2 entries per Class. That is pretty much standard here on Nitroslots....at least as long as I've been here. I will clarify in the rules. Thanks for asking.
