It aint ute racing its truck racing...  These are trucks, was a great introduction, first race of the night, the winner being the shop truck (red 0ne), sandfly was second with the gray one. Managed not to red light the inline cuda for another chicken dinner, lost in the top fuel final, bugger. Love the trucks in New Zealand......Awesome!! Congrats to the Shop Truck. That one raced here at Bear Creek. Congrats to you on the Chicken Dinner with the Cuda! |

Well what a blast last nights racing was held at Impala Raceway in very cold conditions, heater was lovely. The sand fly team had put some work into some of the cars and it showed, Chicken dinners in Inline, Promod and Truck racing, sorry no pics, but a great time had by all. Next week we are at Pony boys track, Mustang Alley.

And you have guessed it, its race night at Sandfly Alley, camp mother visited last night for a quick warm up, or was that a fast cool down, was a bit chilly, how ever the track is on point with only 0.00 something difference between the lanes after not being used for 3 weeks and with only a quick rail clean. Death to the rattle tracks is all i can say. May put up some pics tomorrow with a brief narritive.

Ok race fans, last nights racing was epic, with lots of anticipation from pony boy who was looking to maintain his hold on winning chicken dinners. The race meet was run by Matt the crump, he did a great job with only a few minor thingy ups, but still managed to keep us all under control.  The evening started with the now first up race with the truck class, this a great to watch.  This is the final with the Sandfly 52 taking the win. The sand fly team also picked up wins in inline with the cuda and Promod with the white ghost which also took the track record off pony boy Paul, much to every ones delight esp me.  Some deep in thought racers not trying to red light. Camp mother Grant looking for another shot.  The red light lion reds awaiting their demise. Pony boy didnt have it all his own way, after last weeks epic haul of chicken dinners he almost went home hungry. Still a gteat night had by all, next week we are back at Moonshine park. |

The bloke guarding the beers is pony boy paul, next is camp mother grant, then impala po, then alan the lawn mower man. must admit pony boy looks pist about something.

YES sandfly you odiously have done a lot of work on your cars, Because I am hungry. If I have time I may have to look at one or two of my cars.

Calling all gray haired guys, racing tonight at Moonshine Park. Extra long hair not allowed. Went to test and tune last night actually made a t jet go from slow to a complete stop, bastard things. If your lucky i may take some pics just to make you guys wish you were here.
