 Race Day is is almost here, it's been a mad dash to finish up all of the odds and ends. I would just like to thank all of our Racers, Sponsors and Friends and Family in advance for all of your help, support and interest!
We have 13 cars entered in the Street Jet Class and 17 cars entered for the Gasser class! Very excited about the turnout, thank you all so much for making this a great first event.
I am really impressed with the all of the cars in each class. It's going to be a showdown, not only for Best in Show, but also I think we are going to see some really great racing!
I would also like to send a Special Thanks out to KiwiDave and JJWallace, for guiding me through this adventure of hosting a race, I really appreciate it. SPECIAL THANK YOU to OUR SPONSORS
We are going to start Qualifying in the morning. I am hoping to get the qualifying times and pictures posted by noon Mountain time. |

Good luck with your first event, looking forward to it. It is a lot of work but you also have the fun
of racing the cars. You get some real surprises at times and it makes for an interesting time racing
these crazy cars.

Oh man, I'm so antsy. The anticipation is killing me, lol. I can't wait to see how my cars do as I have no real idea what I'm doing, just going off what I've read and Dave has helped me with. Good luck everyone! Thanks to all the great sponsors too! And of course thanks to Gnome for putty all the work into this!

I am excited for you on your first race. I still remember the first proxy race here I was involved in. It was the Summer Nationals 2012 at Eagle Racings Blacktop Raceway. I was so pumped and was prepared to sleep on the floor if I had to just to get everything done. We got our feet wet in a BIG way and it ended up being several loooong days, but all well worth it. The event was a big success and it's ALWAYS a fun time at Roberts on race weekend. Jeff I know ya'll are feeling the same excitement. Your setup is nothing short of awesome!! I wish I had a space like that for my track......and the toys  look at all the fun toys you have! We are all just big kids with responsibilities. Enjoy the weekend with all the cars and racing. Have fun, I know I will be having fun watching. Good luck everybody!! |

Speaking as another big kid I am looking forward to the race. I also found out its the same thing as in full size racing all the power in the world is useless unless you can put it to the ground. Good luck to all in the event and especially the Racemaster, don't work to hard and have fun racing the cars.
