I am retiring my Street Outlaw 57 Chevy Nomad "Rebel" and will be running a new body that will be introduced at my race. I will start at the bottom with it.

Dave, just a quick double check. My understanding of the rules for "Pancake Comp" appeared to be the same or very similar to 4GO list racing. I've been assuming that I could enter the same car in both the Pancake Comp & 4GO. Was I correct in this assumption? Thanks, G I'm not Dave but they are the same rules. The NTRA rules post has been updated to reflect that as well. nitroslots.com/page/ntra-rulesMore questions : I was reading over the rules and noticed it was legal to cut the ears on AFX & 4 gear chassis in "Pancake Stock & Super Stock" but does not make that clarification in the "Pancake Comp, PSO & 4GO" class. In fact, it reads that "No other cutting is allowed" except for to add traction magnets and to relocate the guide pin. Was wanting to put together a PSO car and needing a clarification. I thought it had been okay to cut the ears on the 4Gear chassis, as I had done so for the last 4GO event. I assumed it would be okay to cut the ears on the AFX chassis until I re-read the rules. Confused again ...

Almost time. I'm thinking its going to be a good one with all the varied classes. My cars, all but one is ready. Taken the car apart couple of times trying setups, resetting gear mesh. The car just doesn't want to be tuned. Took the car apart complete, New parts went back in, I see improvement with my bench numbers. Now on to gears. See you guy's Knoxville.

Shooting for my normal Friday before race ship date.

Dave can you please add me in for (1) Veteran Inline Stock, (1) Inline Super Stock, (1) Inline Super Comp, (1) Pancake Comp. Still have some more tweaking to do, but the cars will go out Friday. I will also be changing the body on my #2 4GO car. I am prepared to drop to the #6 spot as penalty. Looking forward to the race.

Just to let everyone know my entries in all classes will be filler cars except the unlimited class. I feel the home town track advantage is pretty big, that is my reason. I also wanted to fill up the entry list with some of my cars.

Haulers pulled out of North Texas late this afternoon and are east bound and down. Performance on all cars is down for this outing. Changing 4GO #2 body. The "Precision C10" truck body will take the place of the "Leihua's Rose" Thunderbird. Same chassis, but performance has fallen way off and I have not been able to get it back. I've been running that combination for several years now. I think it's time for a ground up rebuild.

It has been quite the crunch on time, but managed to get the cars put together and they left today, headed to Smokey Mountain! Can't wait for some great racing! The Black Mustang is an Eagle racing car. Very interested to see these in action.
Dave, I don't think I have signed up for the races yet, been a little hectic here in Montana. Please sign me up for both List cars, 1 inline Veteran stock -the blue Daytona Cobra. 2 - inline Super Stock, the Thunderbird and the Cuda. And two Super Comp, the Mustang and the Trick Camero. Thanks, Gnome
