Okay I sent an email to "Forged in Fire" to challenge them to make forged steel guide pin. If they thought making swords was tough? Ha!
Congrats to Jeff and Dave for top spots!!!
Cool racing! Thanks a million to Sam and Chris for lacking sleep all weekend.

It's the WALLACE crew! Ha ha what a tremendous battle they took on. You aren't kidding. They didn't even get a bye run. It was a fight all the way. Looks like pulling through the storm paid off for that crew this weekend. CONGRATULATIONS JJWALLACE TJET GASSER WINNER 2021 WHOOHOO POP SOME CHAMPAGNE ON THAT GUY. WOW.....WOW....WOW!! That's exactly why we race them. Because you never know what's going to happen in the course of a run. Since we've all started running these races on a simultaneous switch, the slower car hardly ever wins. When we used to have drivers for every event, the human factor and reaction time was introduced and anybody had a chance to win. On the switch, unless there is a problem with a car, the fastest car always wins. I feel fortunate and happy to get this win as Dave's Camaro was obviously faster. But like I said.....that's why we send'em! Congratulations to Dave on TQ and making the Finals and once again to all of the builders! There are some fast and beautiful builds that showed up in Ohio. Tjet Comp Gasser is my second favorite Class next to 4 gear Comp Doorslammer. Thank you to Sam and Crew for running a great show and making the necessary calls to get all the cars down the track! Great job! Dave you can beat up on me in PSO and 4GO!

Congratulations to JJ on taking a sweep of the classes. Grumpy's toy was killer here running some .58s but that is on a different track at a different voltage. I thought I would be running Fins car in the finals but it was not to be. You guys must have stayed up to the wee hours of the morning to get that race in.

Newbie question here please? It's a new chassis and guide pin. How do I prevent the guide pin from breaking in the future please? Many use the Jag guide pin #12-0003BL, which you need the installation tool for. It is made of steel and will bend not break. Look under Jag hobbies under tools. It takes the place of the front screw on the T jet style bodies also. This is the pin that caused trouble on this race track as it is a little thicker and slightly longer than the stock plastic pin. I have in the past also used a stock guide pin, plastic pin removed, with a small wire nail 1/2x19 cut down to size and installed where the junk plastic guide pin was. They are notorious for breaking, it was a poor design.

It would be a lot more interesting if we all could get together and run off the tree, then reaction times would be a factor. Since we can't the only fair way is a simultaneous start. Believe it or not there are still some reaction time wins as some cars will react faster than others, I think there was such a race at this event. I would certainly NOT want my car to be disqualified by someones red light when I was not at the controls.

Believe it or not there are still some reaction time wins as some cars will react faster than others, I think there was such a race at this event. I would certainly NOT want my car to be disqualified by someones red light when I was not at the controls. It is still fair with drivers. But the drivers need to be on their game. I would not want my grandkids pulling the trigger. Now THAT would not be fair. A switch is not needed to be fair though. In real drag racing you have drivers. Same thing here. In the end in 1/1 or 1/64 the builder has to rely on the driver to do their job. I actually prefer drivers over the switch. I have said that many times. It gives the slower car hope and makes the races much more exciting believe it or not. That is how it was always done here on Nitroslots. Of course it is not in the best interest of the fast builders such as yourself, but it fairly broadens the chance of a win for everyone in the field. It is just easier to do a race on a switch for me because I don't need to have anyone else here. Maybe for my October race I will bring back drivers. I can set my tree up so that there are no red lights. Then the drivers duels start and it's a competition within a competition.

Exciting racing with a few twists!
Congratulations Jeff on pulling off a victory against the Grump’s ProStock Camero.
Times were truly amazing! To think, I was celebrating when my cars ran low .8s and an occasional .7 in practice. Can’t image what you guys are doing to get Tjets deep into the .6s.
Been a fun weekend and it ain’t over yet.

This monster truck means business today. Pulling a wheelie up to the car crusher and takes it on like flat land. This sure doesn't look like the same truck we seen earlier it just devoted the car crusher
