Some really good racing in MM Pro Stock. I think this is a really neat class. Just wish I could have actually did a Pro Stock body that I was looking forward to building. Next time ? Al that 50 MPH is the most impressive run yet. Good Luck to the remaining cars.

MMPS Semi Final Ladder
The four Mountain Motor Pro Stock Finalists. #1 and #2 have gotten faster during Eliminations. #6 Qualifier Hairy Canary has fallen off the pace. No indication of what is going on with the car. Dave 632's 2nd car has been consistent mid .3's all day. It's anybody's game.......

This looks to be a very exciting class to run, I hope it returns so I can give it a go!
Fin, I have never built any cars for Al, he does a great job building his own super fast cars, I wish I would have sent something in to see if I could keep up.

With as much time as I've been spending in the body shop lately, can't resist asking about a few of the good looking cars in the field. Rick's Black 57 Chevy. Really like the graphics on the side. Decals or paint? NoSub's White and blue Camaro. Did you paint the stripes? Really like the blue. Looks kinda close to the blue that I use alot and am almost out of. Unfortunately its no longer available. A shout out for Al's 57 Vettes, like your mods to the yellow one, And the black one: fast always looks good! Bill the graphics for the 57 are decals. I tried it first with a white back ground in the rear panel and the silver didn't stand out like I wanted. Something I want to play with on the next one ? I wish I was good enough to paint that. With your stencil's it would be cool to try it with the chrome pens. Chrome or Gold. I did that 57 when I first cast that body many years ago before I started actually racing them and still had the art work from when I painted that car. I sold it on ebay and regret selling it ever since. This body is one I recently cast that I made wider cuz the original one I did was pretty narrow. This one has plenty of room for big tires and dropping the body to the ground. I painted this with Rust-Oleun Lacquer out of a spray can that I had sitting on my shelf that I use to touch up a trailer I have. Didn't come out so good. Didn't want to spend a lot of time on something that hopefully is going to take a beating hitting the sand trap at the end of the track or a possible fire or two ? Not that I'm hoping for a fire. Your never know with these Monsters. I want to say to Al nice job repairing and modifications you made to the Vette. Looks good. Rick

MMPS Semi Finals
Semi Final 1 Dave632 vs Dave632 Team car vs team car. The only thing better would be to meet in the Final. The '55 has been the faster car all day and that doesn't change. It gaps the Corvette and puts it on the trailer. Dave will be meeting the winner between Alpink and Hairy Canary. .3501et to .3873et.
Semi Final 2 Alpink vs Hairy Canary Jeeeeez!! HC found some of that lost performance but that Vette is flat out screamin'. Al is in the Finals with Dave632. .3321et to .4042et.

MMPS Final #1 Qualifier Dave632 vs #2 Qualifier Alpink
Both of these cars have been on their game throughout the entire event. It really could go either way. The traction and power have taken their toll on drive trains today. So there are no gimmes.
Let's see how it goes.....

Mountain Motor Pro Stock Final
The drivers are not in any hurry. They each take their time and go in when they're ready. No disrespect.....each of them wants this. They're in and the lights go green. The '55 is out like lightning bolt and is pulling on the Corvette. He's got it in the bag. But we all have seen the big MPH the Corvette has been been laying down. The Vette drives around the '55 in the last 50' to take the win! What an amazing race. I couldn't even see it with the naked eye. I thought Dave won it was that close. But I do have it on video . I will try once again to get that posted at some point. Alpink wins .3443et to .3503et.

Wow that seemed like it took forever. We still have 4G Unlimited to run. It's going to be a late night. If I start it, I'm finishing it and well.....I'm starting it. I need to do some track prep, populate the ladder, and get organized for the next round of races. As I said before....these cars will NOT be Qualified. They will be randomly placed on the ladder by drawing names out of a hat. There are some awesome cars here. Thank you to everyone for the enthusiasm with this Class! This is going to be good!
4G Unlimited up next........
