I have my AW drag strip set up and been making a few runs w/a couple of different cars. I had made a couple of passes w/the same car and then BOOM! I was like it hit a brick wall! Started looking at the track and saw this. I think it caught the edge of the run(? not sure what the slot is called. Slot? ) Is there a fix for this? Thanks!

Those push tabs can be sanded down and the track will go level.

The rail if sticking up . Cut a slice in a flat head screw driver and slightly push the rail down.

Track is pretty flat, I am more concerned with the offset. See red circle. Tried turning the track around and same thing. I think the guide pin hit that edge jutting out.

been there done that, get a fine file and run it in the guide hole against the edges, the track is quite soft so dont go to hard, i also used to run a ruler down the track before a meet to make sure there was no fouling at track joints. you also need to make sure the rail contacts are good and the same height.

Agreed sand fly. A little file will do the job. On my road course I filled those in with vinyl spackling and sanded straight. Takes the train sound away to.

Hello LHP, It's frustrating to see how poorly some of the new track has been molded. I ended up using the Auto-World track for the return lanes, and bought used AFX track for the race portion. The old AFX track lines up way better. It's getting harder to find. If your track is shiny new? Send that photo to Auto World. They can be contacted through their main site. www.autoworldstore.com/You may get some new track sent to you. AW customer service has been good to me so far. Best of luck.

could be one of the reasons we went to 2.4m lengths with continuous rails.

I would contact Autoworld and point this out. They have been pretty responsible in supporting their products. At least that has been my experience.
