No problem on the pictures..they did have an L shape hall way outside the room with tables there also. I'll try to get better pictures at the next one.

Gonna try to make it to the show. Hopefully we can swing a live race event. It might be a good idea to look into getting a table. Its my anniversary weekend. Hopefully I can convince the wife that a romantic getaway could include a slot car show and race. We won't need to camp out at Sam's house since we have an RV, we'll find a campground nearby. It'll be a long trip for many of us. Perhaps some folks could carpool to it.  |

Just received the flyer today. Not planning on setting up a table at this one but I could see if I could get a table in the hall if any of us are going. That will get us a couple chairs to sit at. If you drive this far to see the show trust me it doesn't hurt to have a go sit down spot for a couple minutes, if you want to check it all out. I could put some "check out nitro slots" flyers on it so everyone knows it's ours. I'm 20 minutes from the show. I'll probably hit the show early then be home if anyone wants to race. I'm open to ideas if anyone is coming this way.  |

I think it's about 7 hr. or so to the Cleveland area for me ......... hmmmm. have to run it by my Sgt. Major.
One thing I never done was a slot car show.

Two things I quickly figured out about these shows.
1) Bring a bit more money than you originally planned. Always best to go home with some left.
Following the first suggestion above makes it easier to follow the second one.
2) If you see something you sort of want? Buy it, or you'll regret it later.
Treat yourself. It's a blast!

Yes but there is absolutely nothing to do around there. If anyone is coming possible for a weekend vacation here are my options...
If it's strictly slot car and focus is only on the show. I would STRONGLY suggest you come the night before and stay at the hotel. Tell them your there for the show (call/plan ahead rooms go fast to keep slot car together) to get the deal. What they do is try and put everyone going to the show in 2 hall ways. Most Everyone selling at the show sets up the night before in their rooms. Good deals can be found...
Next Option if your coming in and want some other things to do I would say look for a hotel on Bagley rd and 71 in Middleburg hts. That's not far from the slot show and you have alot more restaurants, movies, stores and fairgrounds. The fairgrounds is having the gun show April 23 and 24 so maybe a 2 for 1 for some. Bagley and 71 is 10 minutes from my house. There's a few hotels around there. Also a brewery/restaurant Fat Heads has killer burgers.
Now I'm starting to drift a little here, BUT! There is a circle track (Lorain county speed way) and a dragstrip (dragway 42) not that far away?
I'm not far from Norwalk either but it's farther than the other 2. I'll see what they got going on for that weekend.
Down town Cleveland is also within a half hour away so that also opens up things like rock n roll hall of fame , comedy clubs ,history museum all kinds of stuff.
Bill you could probably park your trailer at my place possibly. How big is that thing? I can throw you a extension cord out the window.

Oh yha I forgot another option is race weekend at my place. Depending on how many we got I can offer up floor space. Pretend we're all teenagers shove the furniture to the side and pass out lmaooooo...

The camper is about 31’ long. It the powered type, on a Chevy van chassis.
