Tony, I'm using a Iwata HP-CS Eclipse. If your looking to get one, check these out. Easy to use, clean up and durable. I've had mine for over 5 years with no problems. I always clean it after each color I spray. I'm using lacquer paints. I clean it up with lacquer thinner. I'll add more to the Wagon tomorrow.

After pulling the tape off last night I sprayed a light clear coat to seal the paint. I've been using dupli color clear coat out of a can. This morning I taped off the side of the wagon for my next design which will be checkers. Take a marker and make some guide lines. Checkers are drawn out Use your Xacto knife and follow the lines you just made. Peel off every other checker. Tape up the rest of the body to prevent over spray from getting where you don't want it. Put on some light coats until it's covered. Here is what it looks like after the tape was pulled up. I'll put a design/line around them later. Also I added a very light (fog) coat of clear to seal.

Adding the next color is the same process as we went through before. Tape the side of your body Draw your design Cut along your guide lines Mask the rest of the body to prevent over spray Painting The stripe candy blue so I laid down some silver before hand After this step I'll add another stripe later and maybe some ghost flames.

You got it! I went to Patto's website a while back but couldn't find the white Mopar decals. Any idea of what page and header they are under?? Or should I just send him an e-mail and ask?

Here I'm adding a yellow stripe. I only marked off the wider area for a guide line and am using the paint that you can see under the tape as a guide in the tight area. You can see that there is a small white line on each side of the yellow towards the back. Well, I think I had enough with the paint on this one. I'll finish it off with some Mead decals later. Thanks guys and welcome to the forum ol55.
Ragu, A sharp blade cuts with little effort and a dull blade requires more pressure and will try and tear the tape as you cut. I didn't find it all that hard to make cuts without going to deep in the paint. I've had a lot of practice with cutting out designs in liquid mask on .007 and .010 lexan bodies. If your wanting some practice, get some tape and a piece of styrene. Start learning blade control on it. After you cut out your design pull up the tape and see how deep you actually cut. It does take practice to get a feel of it all. Great question.
