OK... All Racers that have signed up for the Super Stock Nationals LQQK HERE !!! On Saturday May 31st KDOG is giving away a Auto World 68 Torino Custom T Jet SS car. All you have to do is sign up to race in the PshycoSlots 1st Super Stock Drag Race !    This T Jet based car has a custom decaled body with a clearcoat applyed. The chassis is a new old stock T Jet, with an arm that has equal 16.2 poles. I have added a matched set of magnets. This chassis spins freely and is ready to tune for the race. I will pick a number out of a hat from every one that is regerstered for the SS race at that time. So don't wait there are 14 more spots left! SIGN UP NOW ! Welcome to the race and the forum Fast1. The cool thing about this give away car is that Kevin is giving it away early enough so the lucky winner can race it at the S/S Nat's if they choose to do so.

Guys, we thought a mention of this as well would be good.................We will continue to support Superstock class as much as possible at every event. Your cars will not become obsolete. We will try to offer Superstock in addition to whatever classes we are also running at any given event. We will support it with prizes as well. It is important that a "base level" class be viable and available for the hoped for stream of new racers, as well as us guys who are nostalgic for these Factory Built Hot rods.
Obsolet-ism ( I made it up) will be one thing we will try to avoid at all costs. Rules changes from year to year will be as minimal as possible, hopefully, NONE! We also won't offer a class ONE time then pull it. Once a car is built is should be viable for a long time in at least one class.
YOU GUYS should be hoping for and promoting new converts to this sport, as that is the BEST insurance against US ( all of us racers) becoming OBSOLETE!!!! (old doesn't bother me near as much as obsolete, dig?)

Thats great! I am thinking this is a great Father -Son hobby. You can pass on some manual skills that kids just dont get these days and have some male bonding time as well.....the costs are a little easier to swallow than building a 'real' drag car!!!
