Congratulations Richard !!!! and THANKS to the staff that put on the event, very COOL coverage. When I get home this afternoon the photos of the finnished BAD DOG giveaway car, but first more fishing!

Kim did do a great job with it all. We had taken pictures of the first round matches and had them ready to go with all of your qualifying #'s. All this was typed out on word so what she did was copy and paste that info to speed things along. Phil deserves the credit for this trick. All that were involved here had a great time running all your cars and are look forward to the Fall Nat's. That will be a bigger event with much more racing. Congrats goes out to Demon340 for his impressive qualifying runs. I ran all the cars down the track one time before qualifying to make sure they were going to run ok. His car ran a .5125!! We didn't see that again but wow!! that's a serious contender at any event. I was chatting with Demon and he asked what I did with his car to make it so fast? Absolutely nothing is what I did. It was all you. He did say he's been tinkering with it to make it smooth and has put a little time into it. Well done but you know your going to have work twice as hard to stay up there now. I see a lot of guys that are wanting to knock you off your Mountain  . 440GTX, great running car that is a little under powered for the heads up event. Great consistent car. The bracket win was well deserved. Rapid Richard, another consistent car that has good running gear. The big Plymouth had enough ponies to get er' done. Great Job! Chima, she probably did want to throw something at me one time or another this weekend after overloading her with info to type up while we were doing it Live. Kim does deserve a big hand for all she did this weekend. |

:oWOW I can not belive my car won the gasser reunion  I want to THANK SAM,CHIMA,CHUCK,and THE DRIVERS for THEIR OUTSTANDED job on this race,I want to thank all of the other RACERS for the nice compliments PHIL thanks for the 63 Plymouth body,and I want to thank Demon 340 for building my car Richard |

Hey guys I got hold of richard last night and told him he won but
I think he is in shock and cant talk. Let me tell you what I did to him last night he call me on his cell but had not checked his voice
mail so he didnt know he won yet. I told him he won and he was
so happy then he said hold on I knew what he was doing putting
his phone on speaker so his wife could here me they were in the car
heading home. So he said tell Karen what you just told me so I
said hey you won but they took the win away when in tear down they found a illegal armature in it and he had been band from
HO drag racing for life. Iam bad but we all got a good laugh out
of it.

Thank you Iowajeff I have just gotten back from the post office. I have shipped the cars back with insurance and confirmation delivery. You should be receiving your cars back shortly. I am looking forward to the fall nationals |

Nice work and thanks Sam and Chima and the Colorado Springs gang. It was great having NTRA included in your local race program! I for one, look forward to more, provided you can handle the work load! I picked up a few ideas from the results, as to how to get some more speed out of My Willys Coupe and look forward to shaking it down at the 2009 NTRA opener. I have heard a possible rumor that the season may open with Super Stock AND Gassers! In the mean time, I am building a Pro Mod, a Funny Car AND a Ratt for the fall nats.
