Here is a Camaro i did for Phantom BSE, he shared some really cool information about rebuilding a 67 Camaro, Metalic Blue with a White vinyl top and White stripes. I found a color near spot on to the famous Marina Blue Metalic of that era and recreated a vinyl top and of course added the trimmings. If you would like information on how i did the top feel free to ask it was quite easy. Hope you all enjoy! The body was in great shape, my idea was to keep the car as stock looking as this body could look to help resemble the 67' that phantom rebuilt. As i looked it over i noticed the back window trim needed to be fixed and that i would have to fill the holes where the wing that came with the car was suppose to go. I added bondo, fixed the areas with a razor and sanded it smooth Wow that Marina Blue Look... Perfect! Adding the vinyl top, i found that the gradient of masking tape really helps with the realistic look. These pictures are of the car with no clear sprayed, its 11 at night and ill clear it tomorrow. The metalic will really shine then, im trying to figure out how to clear the car without doing the vinyl top so that it isnt shiny. This has all been completed with just figuring out how to do the build, it was a fun build and i think it came out great. Hope you guys enjoy. Great job! Now I can't wait to see the next one.

Thanks Peter. Yep ive been working some saturdays to keep up with the lack of employees, oil is still too low for anyone to get hired so the work just gets spread to whos left really.
I try to balance work home and hobbies and the hobbies dont get much time, my race car included. ive got a new transmission on the way that should be here next week... it will be #3 and 9th reinstall. So far the trans has been my achillies heel.

Here is the second edition to Phantoms camaros. While wondering what color i should paint this body i often looked back at the blue camaro for ideas, the cool crisp blue looked somewhat heroic. So what better for a hero than a villan, i decided on a Salon Perfect nail polish color #301 the bright red metallic just seemed menacing, throw in the matte grille and it just looks like it wants to eat its opponent in the other lane. Friend or Foe... you decide...

Heres a truck i got from our own HairyCanary, i want to personally give him thanks, he threw in a few extras and it really is appreciated. Now in saying that heres what i did with your creation... Grandpa's Truck: This is Grandpa's truck, he bought it brand new in 66' it was a bright shiny typical blue for the 60s era truck. Grandpa was quite the hellion, first thing he did was remove that 327, he went down to CrazyLarry's and him and grandpa built a 638 with more nitrous than a doctors office. After Grandpa passed away it sat in a field for years, Grandma got into the passenger side door with a tractor and the punk kids down the road decided to use the drivers side for target practice. I asked Grandma if i could have the truck, not knowing what lay under the hood. After a week or so i had CrazyLarrys creation back alive, slapped some new slicks on it and took her to the track to see what she would do... Grandpa would be proud. I felt this truck looks like it needed a story, none of it was real.
