That's a possibility for me. It is seven hours away. Nice ride west for me and the wife (aka the bank).

Vince. Super III motor magnets measured in the 850-950 range or within the ceramic range. Traction magnets measured in the 2200-2300 range or Neo range. There are no restrictions on the traction magnet strength. Cool. Thanks for the info.

I have a couple of Super III I want to run at Smokey Mountain. The SS rules call for ceramic magnets. Dave do you know what the Super III motor and traction magnets gauss at?

Look at me I'm number 3. Feels like I concord the world getting to 3 in 4go. Clive was right on me last meet up. I worked on that 4gear for a month straight trying to find some hidden speed to keep me at 3. Looks like I better do it again ha ha. Great job holding down top spots Dave. Don't worry I'm not in a hurry to catch you I'm extremely happy where I am at. It's not an easy task hitting top 5 on the list, let alone even getting on the list. Gnome, gnome look at me I'm 3. Lmaooooo. I wish I was at Gnomes place I'd drive him crazy saying that over and over the next few days. I'm in tears now just thinking about it. Vince next list race if the racemaster has time I'd like to grudge match our list 4G0 cars. I never got to race you and you were the main reason I worked so hard on that car I got. Thats a date. Unfortunately purple haze is no longer. I was stripping the paint and left it in the stripper to long and melted the body into a glob of gue. So I will be runnung a new body. See you at Daves in November.

With as much time as I've been spending in the body shop lately, can't resist asking about a few of the good looking cars in the field. Rick's Black 57 Chevy. Really like the graphics on the side. Decals or paint? NoSub's White and blue Camaro. Did you paint the stripes? Really like the blue. Looks kinda close to the blue that I use alot and am almost out of. Unfortunately its no longer available. A shout out for Al's 57 Vettes, like your mods to the yellow one, And the black one: fast always looks good! Bill the Camaro is a Dash body.

I finally got some cars to run Ok. Put me in for 2 T-jet SS 1 inline MM/PS. Unfortunately Purple Haze had a catastrophic failure and will not be there. Had no time to build another chassis. Blue Silk is running great.

I have a couple of cars that the best I can describe it is they stutter half way down the track (newer cars, AW), doesn't seem to matter which side of the track I am running on. Ideas? Thanks! Steve If the car stutters it might be lifting the front end. Try some wheelie bars. Could be your p/u shoe springs are to tight. Do all four tires touch the track? Or the track rails are to low in some spots. What type of track are you running on? Do they stutter all the way down the track?

I have an AW 50's & fins 57 Chevy Bel Air and I would like to get taller tires for the rear (width is ok) How do I go about figuring out what I need? Going to be used on 1/8 mile. Are all axles the same size? Will any rim fit? So many questions and I am not sure what the questions are I need to ask. View AttachmentView AttachmentIf you want to go up the middle in expense, Model Motoring has screw on aluminum wheels for $10.00. you can get different colors also. The are the same size as JL,AW and Aurora Tuff ones rims. They run true and smooth. www.modelmho.com/access.html

Hey all. I just wanted to check in and explain my absence. I fell off a ladder a couple weeks ago and have been off my feet. Some family members have some health issues needing my attention. I and the family are doing well. Unfortunately the crew and I won't be participating in this race. To bad because I really enjoy this stuff. I'm down but not out. I'll be at the next races for sure. Hello group, I have talked with Al , Jeff and Theo about hosting the Al Pink Summer Slam. I'm running tomy/autoworld track and will run it to the best of my ability. If we're all on board with that I'd be happy to have everyone at my place. I'll give Jeff the details on my track so he can add them in the proper places. We can talk further on this later if needed as Dave's event is coming in hot. Just wanted to give everyone a heads up. Whats that you say? Theo...the o lady .yes definitely need her on board ha ha ha Sounds ok with me. Wishing you well AL.
