I have several NON Magnatraction Specialty chassis. I want to put a couple more together for the NF/C class. What I need to know is if the MT armature gears are the same as the Non MT gears? Both are 9T but the MT look larger in diameter. Mine came from the wedge rail dragsters with the blue tipped drag arms. Thanks for any info. Bob

Just picked up May's Car Craft. Nice 5 page article and pictures of the NTRA finals at Lions Drag Strip. Great article on the HO Slot Drag racing scene and nice plug for Nitro Slots board. The article starts on pg. 56. Bob

I would like to buy finished resin bodies for the in-line AFX G+ style mounts. I would like Pro Stock or Gasser style bodies. I will take unpainted resin bodies with the AFX / AW non T-jet mounts installed.

As some of you know I am new to the Drag Racing part of HO. I would like to know what classes the inline Super g+ or BSRT G3 chasis are legal in. My experience in the T-jet arena is a lil rusty. I have some T-jet stuff but need to know about arms, gearing and when to use the plastic plate gears vs. the metal lightened gears. Thanks for all the help I have gotten so far. Some replied to SKR thread about a national race and how hard to get people to travel. I drive 11 hrs for a road HO race in WA and 4 Hrs every other week to race 1/24 wings. If people want to race " Build it, they will come "

I have the AW set also. I took two 15" straights, removed the rails and put a large mound of pillow stuffing at the end. The in-line cars get to the middle of the stuffing. The AW 4 gears barely get a couple of inches into it. I have 16 feet of powered track with an older AFX 22 vdc wall wort.

I have been to a national HOPRA race as well as the G3 championship in WA. I found at both the amount to be learned is tremendous. At both like Sam suggested there were tracks for rookies and experts. I feel that it should be somewhere in the middle like TSS. This way travel for most would be the same. It might also work back east if the nearby airports are larger and fares are cheaper. I also work for the schools so summer would be best for me also. It might be easier to get a kitchen pass if there is something for the wife to do. Read " shopping " Bob
