Welcome Beastworx. there is no dumb question on here and ,this is a great bunch of guys to race with and to get any tips you need to build a car for any class.One thing ill say about sam and john on here is they are really helpful for any questions and everyone here are friends,alot of clubs and forums could learn alot from this forum, ...FUN...No DRAMA..And great Fair Racing.You will be hooked on racing here,Again Welcome!!!!!!!! Beastworx, Keep us posted on how cutting the Tyco or AFX track goes when you make your drag strip...That might be a very good use for all of those pieces of afx and/or tyco track pieces with broken connector tabs on them I sent you a PM about the bodies sent to the Maple Falls address. Thanks, I'm looking forward to getting my hands on those couple of bodies and see what kinda "magic" I can work on them...
I noticed on here that you're working on a '57 Chev Pro Mod... I first fell in love with the Pro-Mods watching Trevor Lowe's Fraser Valley Vending 7/8 scale '57 Chev run in the 6 second range @ 202mph at Mission Raceways in B.C. Canada, at least 12 years ago... I'd love to build a replica of that car...
I'll try cutting a piece or two this weekend and let everyone know how it turned out... Maybe sooner, we'll see...
