Thank you I would like to buy something to test the cars with but I dont want to sell my house to do it LOL For $120 you can't beat the Trackmate basic program. It gives you ET, speed , reaction time and bracket dial in. I've been using it for about 3 years now with no problems. All you need is an old computer with win 95, 98 or ME. It will not run on XP or Vista. AS far as one controller for both lanes, I do it all the time. I hook the controller to one lane and I have a jumper to go over to the other lane. Both cars run off one controller. 440

Thanks 440 I have actually been thinking about putting a dual boot on my laptop with 98 and reinstal linux I was trying to avoid it because I have never had good luck with dual boot setup. Seems like the cheapest solution though.

Yup except Grub sucks and I just realized my laptop has a SATA drive so I cant install win 98 to use it for a timing system its times like this Im sorry I got rid of all my old computer stuff
