The race is being held at Psycho Slots Dragway. For this race the track crew dressed up the starting line area in proper colors for a Monster event |

IN THE NEWS...
Qualifying Delayed Friday's original date for qualifying was delayed one day due to Sam having an unscheduled training class for work. This caused a delay in the race schedule. Packages were not able to be opened until Friday evening. The cars were qualified on Saturday evening and the race is now back on schedule. Notes From Qualifying There was a little bit of drama when past track champion 440GTX's Willys Gasser blew some gears in the first run of qualifying. His car crossed the line with a .71 E/T. Between qualifying rounds we were able to replace the idler and top rear gear which as you may have seen put his car back in the running.
Ragu's Nomad went for a ride at half track when it deslotted, cross the center line from left lane to right lane and smacked the wall Saturday night. Our first adjustment on the wheelie bar was not where it needed to be. The second run looked good. Ragu is looking competitive in todays Gasser event.
Other random cars that did not qualify well were worked on between first and second round with some still not getting the results we were hoping for. One car was worked on for an hour, changed chassis, wheels and tires etc and was better but still needs more tuning.
Slotmann55's Gasser 55 Chevy smoked an armature in first round. After opening the car up it looks like the cause may have been from the brushes deteriorating and plugging up the segments between the commutator. We replaced it with a new American line mean green armature.
We were pleased at how well the cars are getting down the track compared to the first event. Great job everyone! Track Makeover For this event we dressed up the starting area to black. This is a change from our normal red to really get in the spirit of the Monster Bash. Spotted At The Track Early this morning while we were taking a walk through the pits we noted massive amounts of beer cans from everyone's pit areas along with a clown and one donkey. If anyone would like to fess up to this one we would like to know what happened.
Also spotted was something that we think is very unusual which may explain many of the beer cans and possibly a clown or a donkey. We are kind of at a loss of words so here is some of what we found...
We were very quiet as to not disturb them. Who says friends can't have a grudge and still spoon.
