Got my cars home too. Thanks for making the runs with them even though they were late. I'm a little disappointed with their performances though. Think I might just drop out of this event. Good luck to everyone.

Good luck to everyone. Hell no dont drop out. You never know what will happen. When I was racing 1/24 scale, at a national I qualified last and made it to the final. This is just for fun.

Yeah I guess. Just having cars in an event like these is part of the fun. Just wish I knew what I was doing when I build these things.

Hey eddiebee,
You can't drop out now, you already got the race home won. I still have not received my cars yet. Besides, us guys without a track to test on are racing more against ourselves than the opponent. For me shaving .200 or better between test and tune and the actual race is a win in itself. It may take a while but eventually you produce a winner. Besides, if you were to win the fist time out, it would not be much of a hobby then.

Hey Eddie, Not sure if you have seen these tips. www.psychoslots.com/index.cgi?board=tdrt&action=display&thread=1247Part of the fun is trying to make a better pass than your last one and maybe learn something new along the way. Now that you have a base # you can challenge yourself to try and better that at the Nat's. We have a great group here that range from hardcore tuning to guys that just want to be in the show just for the fun of the Hobby. Good luck and we hope you make it back to Carl's.

Eddie don't worry ,it's a lot of fun and the exercise you get chasing little springs and things all over the floors is entertaining to familt members! I'm into secound or third season mainly run super stock, a sloooow Gasser, and a try at the new this year stock class , trust me these guys drive your car better than I can and have all kinds of tune up information on this site, but the fun for me is just stirring up the MOPAR GUYS....

Larry like eddiebee says. Don't drop out this is for fun. I have been tooling around with these little temperamental devils for 30 plus years and still get frustrated. What is more frustrating is not haveing a car ready for a class race. But then I realize I'm not in it for a huge purse at the end of competition. My cars performance shocked me also. But I'm still going to compete and have fun. Hope you change your mind and race this event.
