Round Two, SS/B
In a very close race it's Fast1RP's yellow cuda running a red-lighting 1.1843 to Ninjateck's black Torino's also red-lighting 1.2038 @ 5.81 MPH. Unfortunately, the quicker car also red-light by the most to make Ninjatek's Torino the winner! Sorry guys, very tight red-lights too.

Yeah, its 1964 all over again with the battle of the Thunderbolts!! Tom Curtis Fugitive T-Bolt takes a holes hot loss to SKR's Les Richter T-Bolt with a quicker but losing .96.97 to a 1.0590. We won't say who was driving to protect the guilty. Sorry Tom. Sure was fun to watch though. (I did say watch didn't I.)

Finals, SS/B
From St. Charles, MO. it's the power of a Thunderwreck verses the power of a Thunderbolt from Colorado Springs, CO. The Ramcharger Challenger verses the Ford Thunderbolt of SKR. It's T-Bolt over the Torino this time with SKR running .9439 @ 7.58 MPH to a very game 1.0451 @ 7.89 MPH.
Plus two very happy drivers to not sleep or red-light on a final! Great race!

Before we bring you the main event for today, we would be remiss if we didn't recognize a few people who made today’s event happen. Sam Beckworth started psychoslots.com and the NTRA on his dime just a couple years ago and while I'm sure he hoped it would progress to where it is today, I wonder if he thought it would become the active site it is. Thanks Sam, without you taking that first step, we wouldn't be having the fun we usually are.

And of course, behind any good man is a good woman. Just ask my wife, she'll tell you so. But I digress. Thanks Kim for not only putting up with what we mostly grown men do and want to do but also becoming a very valued member of this group.
Next but not least is you. Yes you. With out you guys taking the time to read what we write and answer back, question our decisions and the direction we go, we would not be getting better. We are and I'm sure we will make mistakes both today and in the future. We obviously don't want to and are only trying to improve the hobby of HO drag racing with logical decision because we all are addicted to this stuff. Thanks for taking the time to post on the website your recommendations and observations, both good and bad. AND... Thank YOU to all who took the time to put together a car or two and spend the money to mail it to this race. Thanks from the WDWAHO group. We are having fun driving your cars like their not ours! Yeah, we know, their not! Fun Times!

BEST APPEARING CARS This was very, very tough and hard on our judges as some of the handiwork was so good we couldn't tell if they were Phil P.'s RRR cars or your own work. We argued for a while and could have picked anyone of about ten cars. We finally gave up and picked two! One is from Simi Valley, California, it's Ruthie's Mr. Bardahl Camaro. The other is also a lady. Lady Kim Beckworth and her fabulous Kim's Toy 64 GTO. Congratulations Ruthie and Kim!
