Speaking of Altered type bodies, here's a nice Vette from CMC resins , we added the hood ornament plus the 4G equipment, also added a small spoiler up front, opened the rear wells up for a bit larger meat ...RM

I love the truck!! I have already looked with no luck, but you said the Vette was from CMC resins. Who is that? And may I ask where the truck came from. I am starting to see more trucks out there, but they are still hard to come by. Thanks as always for sharing......I can never get enough!

Thanks JJ... The Vette is from CMC. He sells mostly at the slotcar shows. CMC, Custom Miniature Conversions, ask for Doug 414-520-1266, tell him Randy from Hilltop sent ya. You might catch him at dougscmc@gmail.com if ya don't like talking... The truck... well, I know a guy that knows a guy, will see what he's got left, make take a day or two, he's slow...RM

Jeff like Randy said his name is Doug and sells mostly at shows. All the 1/64 stuff Jimmy Flinstone has is his. He does the masters and Flinstone casts them. I've castes a lot for Doug, The Vette Randy posted that he did a awesome job on is my casting. Doug is working on a Chevy farm truck with a camper shell optional he's about finished and is supposed to send my way to cast. I will post some pictures when I get a chance. Rick

Truck looks like its based on the Hot Wheels C10, possibly a 66 model.

Thank you for the info. Randy and Rick! Randy I know a guy that knows a guy that needs to send you a '66 Nova Pro Mod that he built and cast. I will get to work on that.
Bill I will check that out. I have a pretty good local Hot Wheels source that might have that. It is either a '67 or '68 C10. I have a '64 C10 step side and they changed the body style after '66. Thanks for the heads up.

Good eye there ECB...it's actually a 67 model. It's based on the Hot Wheels version with the cowl hood. The boys over at GlasTech added the rear to make it a Delivery, decided to keep the cowl hood. 67 was the major mid 60's change. 67 through 72 all have the same look. The Farm truck is a 70 model... I had a 71 1:1 for over 30 years...RM

I had a '71 3/4 ton that was a great truck. Ran really strong....wish I had it back. Best friend in High School had a '67 and an Electrical Engineer that I work with now has a sweet '67 step side blown street truck. I'm a Ford guy most of the time, but I love my Chevy trucks. My '64 was bought brand new by my grandfather in Kerens, Texas. I am very happy to have it!

You're right Jeff, 67. It's #143 of 250, 2015 edition. Several editions of it have been issued. If you would like to cast a copy, I'd be glad to send you one. Perhaps you could send me one of the 1st litter. Hot Wheels has lots of trucks from the 50s thru late models. Pickups and panel vans. Let me know what interest you and I'll check my stash. Their 69 Custom step side is pretty nice,in spite of the custom grill. Same goes for the rest of you guys! Been planning to try casting someday. When I get around to it. Maybe after retirement. Bill
