This is a first look at one of SKR's new FED resin body builds.... The Hand Grenade..... Sam molds in the driver, and engine block, and is a cool looking resin body as is, but the DOG just loves a tear down build up.... I have saved these Mead brothers decals for a few years waiting for the perfict project...The time has come. Stay tuned more to follow

These front wheels are orignal AJs aluminum "pizza cutter" wheels I was lucky enough to fine at a swapmeet sometime back.
There is a seller machining new aluminum wheelsets for around $14 to $20 a set (front & rear) with tires. His ebay name is.... slot_car_device. I have a bunch of his wheels and they are very well done.
Thanks for the complments the Dog loves a new project ;D

I finished the the body for the FED from SKR resins yesterday. I wanted more than just a white paint job, so I hit it with a couple of coats of Tamiya Pearl Clear first (a nice trick to make your favorite solid color an amazing metal flake). than followed that with an automotive clear. The scale of this FED looks great next to my Fiat Topolino. looking forward to starting another

I cast up two new FE Dragster bodies One is a replica (sorta) of the Snake & Mongoose Hot Wheels Dragsters of the 70's and the other one is a late 60's early 70s style. I did these with the chassis exsposed. I still need to finish engines and drivers and cast them. Hope to get one done this weekend to send to Texas. Rick
