Hey all,
I just moved to the Colorado Springs area, and I'm looking for a club to get involved with. (I am kinda new to the hobby.) I am also looking for some hobby stores that have slot cars. I have been to the one downtown. Are their anymore besides Hobbytown? I am looking for extra Carrera track.

Welcome to the springs Clutch. I don't know of anybody that carries carrera track. Colorado Custom Hobbies has a 4 lane scalextric track. There is a thread for their shop under 1/32 scale. Maybe they can help you out. There are a few clubs here, 1/24 scale oval racing ran from Fall to Spring time, and we run the HO Drag Racing year round. If your interested you are more than welcome to join us. We have loaner cars. Hope you enjoy the forum.

Don't forget - there is a 1/32 scale club and two HO scale clubs in the Denver area if you don't mind the hour drive. I don't know much about the 1/32 scale group. However, the www.mhosa.com HO group races the magnet type cars (Wizzard, Slottech, BSRT, Tyco) while the www.frhoracing.com group races T-jets and X-Traction cars. The www.frhoracing.com group also has a 1/4 scale mile drag track located in Parker, CO. |

Dave, The HO group in Colorado Springs meets three Saturdays a month. Our next meet is this Saturday at 5:30pm. I'm sending you a PM of our directions.
