Just some words of encouragement for all you guys who do not fell competitive. When I first started racing, my cars barely made it down the track. So I kept testing and tuning. Asking advice from other members. More testing and tuning and more advise. The hardest thing with these pancake style slot cars is knowing the symptoms of a poor running car and then finding the cure. One example is if your p/u shoes do not make full contact the car looses a ton of power. If you rev the motor and you hear it sound like wa-wa-wa something is out of balance. That is when the fun starts. It takes time and experience to get familiar with these little terrors. Heck I was Door slammer Spring Nationals winner and got destroyed at this race with the same chassis I raced at the Spring Nat's. Just different bodies. My whole point of babbling on is don't give up.
