I'm pretty happy with that qualifying time! My first event and that car has never been down the track before, all it got was about 10 seconds with a 9 volt battery to make sure it ran. . . chriswfo Congratulations on your placement for your first run in Stock Class. Nice accomplishment for a bench racer. I too do not track run the cars and test with a 9 volt battery. I do use a 15" piece of track to see how it will take off. Perhaps that was my advantage. Hope to match up again in Super Stock Class race in June. Thanks Cordell, it's probably been 40 years since I messed around with slot cars at all and this is the first time I ever entered a race with one. I did my homework before I built this one and even built a gauss meter to work with. Seems I was on the right track with this build and have some more things I can do to this one yet. I'm looking forward to the Super Stock race. Chris |

Great job Eagle & Crew! You guys had a long weekend and we really do appreciate the show you gave us.
Congrats Eagle and Ninja on your wins. I liked all the different combinations guys were trying in FED. I'm happy with how mine ran being that it was experimental and didn't have any track time on it. I'll do more testing when it gets back and keep you guys posted. Again great job.....

Just wanted to say Thanks Sam for the car.... It will debut in Colorado Drag City later this year. Pete told me to get my cars tuned up for the Nationals in March... Gettin' Ready boys... So watch Donovan's Express will be set to take down the competition.... Hey guys, think we created a smack spewing fountain. I got him to nibble but you guys set the hook. Doug's been so full of hot air for two days, I'm gonna stick a pin in him and watch him fly around the parking lot. Maybe he'll find something laying around out there that can get out of it's own way.

LOL......Pceng you're just gonna have to put it on him in the next race! Glad to see the new racers showing up though. I was hooked after my first race a year and a half ago and still am. We've got a great group of racers for sure!

Yep I'm hooked, had a road course laid out but now it's down to just a test oval... Speed test today and everything seem good under the hoods... I'll be ready! Thanks for the votes of confidants lol... Doug412 is a name that everyone will know by the end! Don't worry March we'll see, my Bluesmobile is running good with cop tuning,tires and springs the only thing missing is the cigarette lighter... Wow, What a great first race to start the year off. Wish I could have made it. I was side tracked with, now get this, Brain surgery. All went well and on the mend. So, believe me, I'll be at the next race. Seems like Doug is hooked already. Great, new blood to leave at the finish line. LOL.
