Well it's interesting around here... Built a 57 Chevy Bondo Special Door Slammer! Oh Yeah lol it's ugly but it's gonna look cool in the pics,as it rumbles down the track with a wiggle... Awesome! Thanks for the laugh Ron, made me "Down with the Sickness!" Bahaha... So now there's two and i don't even care if it wins cause it just looks and drives cool as H E double hockey sticks.. Enjoy it when it hit the track next month... ......Race On Doug412

was unaware of such a provision as mentioned (can we all do this?). I have really no opinion on the matter. But, I do hope no discord comes from it. It is a seed so to speak. Don't think it would come from anyone that has been part of the NTRA for any time. But we seem to have some new members since my last visit to the site. When I first participated in a race another new member did so also. After being eliminated the hosting track was accused of .......well.....rigging races. That was without the hosts having any cars in race. Only takes one to make things ugly. Haven't been on site for awhile and after seeing your post, this came back. Hope all goes well with the race, and the cars to (no crown gears). I would like to enter one in every class except the FED. Two for the FED please. Looking forward to the races, got to start catching up on the pro-mo's. Now for the smack thread so I can tell you what I really think...lol........ Peter Wow!! If anyone else is reading this like me sounds like he needs Cheese to go with that WHINE!! Hope no one takes it too seriously :/ It's all good til someone brings up the past just for some drama... Our group seems Very On The Level... If you anyone cheats.... it would be by using Jim's home built cars.. Pete has one coming soon!! So don't talk if that's the plan... My Rocca or SlotTech cars may become something else so they can race Dunt Dunt DAaa!! Race On Doug412

Wow, is right! And that WAS, my friend. "Sounds like" someone doesn't want any more help with his cars.
As for Jim's (tjetsgrig) build, yep it's going to the race. Told Jim, I'd like to see what a 4g can do. Thought others here would also. Brief description neo-quad-wet/com plastic gears. I do not have a track set-up that could do it any justice and want to see what it will do. If any object to it participating as FED (that's besides DU DU DA!), then maybe it could be run as demo for times. Think the things Jim can do with a pancake is artistry. And I'm proud to have one of his works of art.
Some time ago I told Rob, if car arrived in time I would send it. Do need to ask the, Eagle crew, if a wet-com will be a problem? And if I need to send oil along for it.
FED that had mis-hap in Co. and went to pieces in Tx. is back together. T/mags lowered and smaller diameter rear tires might help it stay down. Only one way to find out. MM/PS that disappointed in Tx. has had brushes snuged-up. Seems ok now, or better than it was. Need to get the others from last years race cleaned-up.

No problem racing Jim's builds have raced against them before, he builds a nice setup. Does need to be an FED and yes whatever potion you need to make it go you need to send. Peter, don't expect that car to run like it does on Jim's track. He has a really nice track, mine is plastic. I don't think Doug needs much help he has more points doesn't he? Oh yea buy a big box of tissue your gonna need it

Pceng, the only problem with running a wet com setup is it oils down the track, and in NHRA they would fine you for such a mishap. But if the Racemaster is willing to clean the track after every run then wet com is the way to go and go fast.

No indifference here.... You race what you want and the Car God's will still look upon me with favor! I have a knack for things working out in my favor, ask around or just look in the POINTS! I don't have the knowledge for building Top Dog Cars but i'm working on it and when i get there "Oh Boy, watch out." This is the 7th race for me since childhood.. Hello, of course i'll get better and better.. Can't wait to see these results at Mockingbird Heights(Plastic AW Track)Dragway the cars are running Faster!! Race On....... Doug412

Jim does build a nice car. I've only had the privilege of seeing his builds once and that was at last years race. Both my cars are running his motors and they have been nothing short of awesome, but I do have another hot one from Screaming Eagle that promises to be lightning!! (rofl)So good luck....you're gonna need it. We will just have a tissue behind your car to wipe up the oil and the tears!! :'(I do look forward to seeing the car(s)!!

Blown Off, as in doors blown off, blown off the track, you should get use to these phrases. It's what's coming your way.
