Hey all,
Things been real quiet here as of late. No nonsense for a whole month. Don't get to log in as often as I would like, but do check the "Most Recent" by phone at least once a day.
Is everyone working their fingers to the bone with new builds or redoing old ones? Doesn't matter, even if there was another month before next race. All are in the same boat. AND IT'S GOING DOWN !!
X-trac's are hooking-up now (tire spin has finally been rectified). Doorslammer chassis finished, faster (obviously faster than the two I did before). And body just needs windows.
Next race is at "Bear Creek". If racemaster is willing, I'd like to do a match race with FED to find out what gear change will do. That is if all aren't to busy with building BRICKS.
Hate being an instigator, but someone had to be. Here we go again............ PC

Hey Pete, try the plastic from a pasta box as your windows they work,got a couple cars with windows like that.lol The only Bricks around here are the building blocks of my track but if you want some...  Eagle is still working on that "Paperweight"   What? besides i said if you wantta run that FED again i'm in cause you won at Summer Nats... But if Angry Jeff would run it i'll send Drag-U-La2 to Texas to Show Off or We can Face-off Halloween Right Here! We already have (3) classes and that will be plenty of work as it is. Was going to tear down both F.E.D.'s for the season, but haven't done that yet. If you are talking about a match race with me, then I will get one of them tuned up. Maybe you're talking about Eagle....he won the race. Either way, I would like to see the green inline run again. You have been dialing it in. Let me know. Track is running smooth and fast.  |

Hey Jeff,
Was hoping for possible match race, every time green FED has run at an event was one of it's test sessions. Right now I,m dealing with a 15" piece of AW track to test on.
You are right though, three classes to deal with is more than enough. Really wasn't thinking, complete over-site on my part. Please disregard prior post! Oooops...... lol, forgot for a second what thread this is, don't disregard all of it.

Actually Doug had said something about running the F.E.D.'s at Bear Creek. That's why I even brought that part up. Tune it up and send it Peter. I'll make sure mine will make it down the track and we can match'em up or I can definitely get you some test runs in and feedback either way. Jeff

Way cool Jeff, FED will make trip with other cars. If this works (stays on track), next will be some gooey sneakers from Eagle Racing. Been afraid to put them on with prior launch results this year. Was looking at them short while ago, trying to decide to go with gear change or tires first for next test. But tires are different O.D. so that might be like starting all over again so gear it will be.

Peter, not sure if you've tried Eagle's tires, but if not, I would give them a try for sure. It would be worth any gear testing you would need to do. He can make them whatever diameter you need. I run them on all of my faster stuff. Makes a difference.

Hey Jeff,
Have Eagle's tires on a few things. Been holding off trying to get things under control with car. Mixed feelings about last race. Tire spin was a good sign, just came with a round loss though. Those are hard to take no matter when they come. Do get over them quick though ... lol!
Now EVERYBODY else,
Are you planning on entering the event at Blacktop? Or just scared to say so? Can't sneak in, sign-up will be coming soon! Maybe just don't want to be embarrassed with yourself when the racing starts. I might be the only one that doesn't care about that huh .... lol. Now I won't wish any miss-haps on all your crown gears (that's getting old). Buuuut ........ other gears do exist! Better put a great big blob of solder on those armature shaft ends so those gears don't fly off. Where is everyone, took the month off maybe?
............perhaps this will get things going, miss the funny pics. Peter

Rob, think you told me this before ...lol. Just trying to people a little excited, mmmmm maybe incited. OK, so I'll be nice. If you went with the big blob of solder, big blobs don't work. File it down so top of gear is clean. Don't worry about all that stuff between the teeth. Nyuk..Nyuk!
