 See full size poster."OPEN TRACK" MAY 4th 2013 Got car you built and haven't gotten an opportunity to get a time on it? Been working on an experimental project and don't know what can do? Coming May 4 2013, Maple Grove Drag Strip will hold an OPEN TRACK event. Builders may send in any car, motorcycle, truck or even scratch built or experimental vehicle to have their car run to get some ETs. During this event the Racemaster will allow additional components to be sent with your cars that can be swapped out to see which works best for your vehicle. Don't know what size tire to use? Send a few different sizes to see which will give you the best ET. Send a few gear plates to see which armature works best. Compare straight pickups to stepped pickups. Here is an opportunity to answer many question through testing. But that's not all another chance to boost your Sportsman series point will also take place. At this event Open Stock (4G) Class (formerly run as Stock (4G) ) run be competing. For this class any stock 4G chassis with any body type may compete (body type must be of type original to chassis; ie- AFX chassis must use stock body made for AFX chassis). No armature less than 14 ohms allowed, no re-winding or de-winding allowed. No body or chassis cuts allowed (mild arching or arcing of wheel well okay). Any slip-on tires allowed; must use stock wheel. See link below for highlights of previous race. 2012 Winter NationalThis class will use same rules used during 2012 Winter National.  Also taking place at this event will be grudge matches, challenges, and match-ups. So if you got a rival that you want finally want prove to them that if ever you guys were matched up that you would come out on top, here is your chance. Talk out an agreement and let the Racemaster know. Or go for the jugular and call them out in a post. Date: May 4th 2013 Entry Fee: $7 up to six cars; 2 Open Stock(4G) max; up to 2 chassis plus swapping components; up to 2 RTR or experimentals (no component swaps, just timing). Sign up now! |

Ninja, hope everything is getting better with your family. Put me down for 1 Open Stock. I will probably send a couple cars for testing also if the get back in time and can make repairs/changes.

I'm in, I'm in, how could I possibly resist going to Maple Grove again !
If I can find one, one 4g stock (is that same rules as last year?), have three for testing two MM/PS and one FED. Just hope to see FED stay on track. The MM/PS I'd like to try different tire sizes. Instead of doing two tire changes on each. Could we do four changes on one? And just get time for second?
..............also looks like Phantom, and I would like to do a match race ..... Please

Looks like things kinda fell off when date was changed. Have two MM/PS ready to go, G and Tyco like last time but T-bulkhead in G and Bigfoot brushes in both.

Hey Ninjatek, my one test car is now going to be a MM/PS match racer. That makes it 2 test cars for times only,and a match race with you in F.E.D. and match race with Pceng in MM/PS.

I want to send my car for some t-n-t. Is it still $7 and where do I ship it too? Sign-up list has been updated. Check list to get your entry numbers. Entry fee is $7 and will cover up to six cars. Shipping address will be PM'd to those on the list in a couple days. Still time to get a car or two together and make the event. New race date May 18th.
