Talked to Eagle about a extra prize, trophy, paper weight or something you can add to your aluminum recycle bin for the winner of NTF. I have a couple of pistons that came out of the big NTF car I have been driving. One is slightly wounded and the other looks good but un useable. I will PM the winner of NTF and you can let me know which piston you would like. GOOD LUCK to all racers entered. Rick

That piston would look great on my shelf right next to the piston rod from Bunny Burkett's Funny Car. Wishful Thinking! Good Luck To All Racers. Now it's time to watch the NHRA Mile High Nationals.(ESPN 3 online)

The LSR hauler is loaded up and will be pulling out early in the morning. 1 DS, 1 MFC, 1 TF and one NTF car, along with the sponsor goodies. Sorry, no pics...had to finish everything up by myself, ALL the crew decided to take the week off and left me holding the bag! I even had to hire two drivers for the hauler! Guido and Jose are 'MIA'..they didn't even tell me they were taking time off! Both the rails are the same cars as last time..did some tuning on the NTF, should run a LOT better (but, we will see), and the TF has the same body, but a brand new chassis and a new 'bullet' in it, so again, NO idea how it's gonna do. Actually, only the NTF is the same exact car. All the others have completely new undercarriages and drivetrains. So..gonna be a BIG 'shot in the dark' on mine! Ron (Bondo)

AWESOME Prize Rick thanks for doing that, I know everyone is excited. The Texas Crew is excited to see and race your race cars. It's always fun to see how creative the NTRA racers are.

Hey all (can't say guys anymore huh),
Hope all have been well, been a while since last time.
Transport left at 9:AM, old hauler not big enough for all the cars. 2 FEDS (ok N/TF), wet-com quad with Hairy Canary body and inline (green one), lowered rear might hook up this time. M/TF, M/FC, and DS dusted off and ready. And MM/PS had brushes tightened, sounds good only time will tell (no pun intended).
Looking forward to the races, good luck to all the racers. Fun starts Friday! ........ PC

It's my rookie season and I'm happy I got second place in one race, this year is about learning and I'm not expecting a win. Wait till next year. I will need some sort of test track here though.

Hey Chris..if we can just figure out where to put up a track somewhere local, I got the track and a timing system! (actually have two, one is a 'stock' AW Matco set, and the other is a custom built Lifelike track) Even got 'Scenery' for it too! And 'track vehicles' too! I have absolutely NO WHERE to put it here since my apt. is even smaller than the one I was in. :/ Let me know if you get any ideas. Ron (Bondo)

Ron (Bondo) Ron, I was planning on putting together a short 5' section to test on but it wouldn't have any timing. I could fit it in the closet when I am not using it. My though otherwise would be to build a modular setup that could be easily set up and torn down. I know hoslotcarracing.com has a modular setup listed under STrak. TKO makes a modular setup but its not within my budget at the present time. My hobby room is 10 x 10 so not enough room there with furniture in it and my garage is small for a 2 car and cramped already.
