Congratulations to nosubfor3!Nosubfor3 has correctly identified the Pro Street foul chassis shown in the photo. The chassis is a Tomy Turbo chassis. A definite infraction of the Pro Street rules. To all who submitted an answer thanks for playing the game. To the winners send to me your choices and an address. Game winners. Phantombse and jjwallace - 3 NTRA event posters of choice Identified Pro Street Class foul(s) as "no aluminum wheels allowed" and "no double flange wheels allowed". Eagleracing - 6 NTRA event posters of choice Correctly identified Pro Street Class foul as use of incorrect chassis. Nosubfor3 - 3 NTRA posters of choice Correctly ID'd foul chassis as Tomy Turbo chassis. Complete catalog of poster choices can be found in NTRA EVENT POSTERSI guess I made this too easy. Next time around I will make it more challenging. Well, the idea was to get people to review the rules. If nothing else everyone should have learned a few items that are not allowed in Pro Street Class.

O.K RACERS....WE HAVE REACHED THE 1 MONTH MARK BEFORE THE " BATTLE FOR THE CROWN "!!! This is a shout out to anyone who has never raced in the NTRA or those who have not raced in 6 months or more and still are active in checking out the forum. The hardest part is building the car (but it is also the most fun)....the rest is easy. Just put it in a box with 7$ and send it in. Winning doesn't matter....it will be fun. So.....with all that being said....newbies, rookies, and of course the veterans send your cars in and get ready for a great race !! Racemaster address will be posted in the next week or two. Good luck to all racers

Race information regarding sponsors.... When I took over the October race I decided not to pursue any sponsorship for the race and handle things " in house " so to speak. I felt like with the busy race schedule that we have had this year, the GREAT sponsors that we have here needed a break. I discussed this with Cordell and he agreed. The NTRA (Cordell), Eagleracing, Boneyard Racing (darius), and Angry Jeff Racing will be providing prizes to the winners of each class. Prizes at this point consist of a 4 gear Legends NF/C and (3) NTRA embroidered hats, 4 gear Tim Wilkerson MF/C, a custom painted Doorslammer body for 4g, and (3) hand turned custom pens. I hope all racers will understand my thinking here as we have made out pretty well with sponsor prizes all year. I want to once again thank ALL of our race sponsors that stepped up above and beyond in 2013.
NTRA, Eagle Racing, Hairy Canary resins, Lone Star Racing, SKR resins, Kdog Racing, Tjetsgrig, Jag Hobbies, Lucky Bob's, Scale Auto, and Flame Masks.
Thank You!!! All of these sponsors can be contacted by clicking on their logos at the bottom of the home page. Go spend some money with them when you can. They have been very good to us!! Good luck to all racers entered in " The Battle for the Crown "

Ok, counting today and race day we have 16 days left. The smack talk is flying. One thing about racing and smack talk everybody is fast up to the mount of truth. Here is what we know for sure.
#1 racer to beat Angry Jeff and his fast Fords. Next in that line up is Jim Russell, Jim as usual is quite until he blows your doors off. Phantom bse I think would be favored next and he is also staying quite.....hmmm
That is the top three favorites according to my report and since it is my report I get to say what I want

Eagle I have to agree with you. I did well, but the two racers that were on my heels were jimrussell and phantombse. I expect them to be really fast for this race. All the smack I've been talking is just for fun and to maybe get some manufacturer rivalries going. Don't take anything too seriously. I actually like all hot rods no matter what brand they are. I expect to see some good competition in all classes for this race. Should start seeing some arrivals pulling through the gates soon as we are now at the 16 day mark as Eagle said. I am looking forward to putting on a good show. Good luck again to everyone

Race qualifying starts Friday morning October 18. This will be a 2 day event ( Fri and Sat ). Sunday will be race wrap up pics and stuff. The track is in great shape with both lanes running even and the new timing system is flawless. I am ready to start logging in cars. Remember....cars need to arrive no later than Thursday October 17. End of the year points are up for grabs and several racers can make big moves!! Good luck to everyone!!

O.K. RACERS......We are now into race week. Only 6 days till qualifying begins. Does everybody feel good about their cars? I am seriously expecting to see some fierce competition in all classes, but I think Doorslammer will be the best. I really think it will be up in the air as to who takes home the trophy. This looks like the makings of another great race! The remainder of this week will be final details of race format and getting area set up for computers, tables, etc. Going to try to overload everyone with race coverage....that's the plan anyway. Good luck again to all entries!!

I just received a couple of pictures of the custom turned pens that are being donated by darius (Don) of Boneyard Racing as prizes for each of the class winners. These are very nice and also very cool! The wood is called aboyna burl. Shock absorber custom pens for drag race prizes....awesome! Thank you Don!
