Rules for hurst race are more con erning body. Hurst , station wagon , pick-up truck..... anything that could be used for last ride (casket required if open vehicle). Anything goes after that. Last year t-jets, 4g's, & several inline chassis ran. CATCH IS - 22V WALWARTS ! ! Idea was low cost anything goes...... no point in spending loot on something that won't run on low amps. 3ohm Tyco won last......
Also going to run led sleds (t-jet, rat rules)...... body on this is up to racer...... needs skirts....... lowering , chopping and such is preferred. Front wheels may be separate from chassis (wanted to get that in). Molding , contouing looking for custom type sled bodies.
Two different approaches for each race, to make things a little different.

Thanks Peter, that was very helpful. figured there may be some discussion as we get closer but don't have much time to get parts/work on cars so want to get ahead.

Low cost cars for FUN Racing... No timing system just Flashlights  Yea it's a fun 2 outta 3 race and the crew is gearing up for it. Lexan bodies are not welcome this year lol.. (Peter) was not specific last October Pete's Nomad won it and that lightweight body is what did it..  Just playin'! RUN WHATCHA BRUNG!! I love that statement for my race.. JJWallace's Hillbilly Hearse was very cool but SKR had the Black-cherry Beauty.. Can't wait to see this years entrees Race On Doug412 |

Baahaha The grave diggers haven't shown up yet because of all the rain but they assured me everything will be in place come Race Time. So from me and the crew we hope you enjoyed your Vacation cause the trip to Mockingbird Heights will be HELL lol... and you might have noticed 412Racing is on another one of the stones... This years Survivors will be pleasantly sup-prized ... Doug412 put up a AW Ratt 55 Nomad (NIB) ...... PCeng a Custom built car and trailer ..and a car by an un-named donor with rumors of others to come.. Hairy Canary is sending in some bodies PCeng went off on bodies for everyone!! Looking for that Slick Sled for best in show and the Heaviest Hearse for carrying them bones... You Dirty Ratts out there don't worry we got something for you too....
