RACE FORMAT AND SCHEDULE
Welcome to 2014 NTRA WINTER NATIONALS. We have mild temperatures with highs in the low 60's for the weekend of racing. This will be the projected racing schedule and format for the Friday and Saturday. All cars will be qualified this morning. Results will be posted shortly after followed by the first round ladders. Cars were qualified by running 1 run in each lane and taking the best time of the two for Gassers and Brackets will use an average of the two times. We are utilizing a single elimination blind draw ladder for Bracket Class and single elimination seeded for Gasser Class (printyourbrackets.com). Placement on blind draw ladder will be random draw and seeded ladder is based on qualifying time. All cars will be run together....no splitting of the classes. We will check cars, pick ups for cleaning and contact, and clean tires before each run. We only oil as needed. Any special instructions supercede our normal procedures. Friday's schedule: Gasser qualifying, Bracket qualifying. Recap of qualifying and posting of first round ladders in each class. Gasser Eliminations will be run after that. Match races will be mixed in during Eliminations. Saturday schedule: Recap of Gasser Eliminations from Friday, Bracket Eliminations, Gasser Finals, and Bracket Finals. Match races will be mixed in during Bracket Eliminations. That's about it. Thanks for sending your cars. Going to try to throw some race coverage at you this weekend. We've got some work to do now. The track is in great shape. Lanes are running dead even, so there is no advantage either way. Anyway..........enough talk........let's get this thing going. Good luck to all the racers today!!!

Sounds like my # 2 might need a drop of oil. Should have been close to my #1. Beginning to think it eats it.

Here is your first round bracket ladder. Ladder placement was random draw. The lucky racers were Phantombse #11 at the #1 position and TGM2054 #8 at the #2 spot. They both will receive a first round bye for their good fortune.

Hey JJ why does one of my bracket cars show all zeros in the stats? Did it flop over and die???

Race 1 First race to start things off sees KS1933 cut a great light with a .410rt to a .489rt and wins easily to a fishtailing TGM's Willys. KS1933 wins 1.571 to a losing 1.814.
Race 2 R&D Racing needs a holeshot to have a chance and gets it with a perfect .400rt light!! R&D'S red Willys Panel gets the win with a 1.177 to Nosubfor3's faster 1.160.
Race 3 This a David vs Goliath race. KS1933 pretty much needs a miracle to pull this one off, but I've seen crazier things happen. But.......not today......they leave together, but that Willys is a strong beast and pulls away. SKR .928 to a KS1933's losing 1.861.
Race 4 Phantombse is up against his traveling buddy 79Malibu. Phantom launches off the line first and puts 79Malibu on the trailer. Phantom 1.128 to a losing 1.603.

Confused on the bracket times. My gassers are listed. Guessing falcon should be mustang and camaro the sled. Times sound about right for that.

I'm sorry. While correcting some of Nosub's I saw your descriptions had also been ommitted and inadvertantly put your Gasser info in there. Sorry, it is being corrected. It has been corrected. Thanks.
